Biggest Rival -- S. Mississippi. Didn't want us in the C-USA, huh? Who loves ya, baby!
Biggest Conference Rival -- Pitt. L'ville is a good choice, but I believe that we wanted Pitt's butt more because of the series. I don't think most people believed that we would beat L'ville, so it was sweet, but the animosity wasn't there.
UCF? Gimme a break. Aim high (I was in the Air Force).

A bunch of us will be at the Embassy Suites at the Miami Airport. Something is being put on at the stadium by the Alumni Assoc, but you had to rsvp, I believe.
I am leaving in 18 minutes to go down there. I can't wait. It is like Christmas in October!
GO BULLS!!!!!!!!! ;D

And what is the Canes' injury report? I thought they were missing some of their key players.

I think it will be lower scoring this time.

Please forgive my ignorance (after my BA from USF, I got an MS from Central Florida) but my wife just suggested that we go down for the game (YAY!!). This was out of the blue.
I have never been to an away game and on such short notice. Do I go to ticketmaster? I saw someone got their hotel on Priceline. Is there a bus going down from Tampa?
Future season ticket holder here needing some guidance. This is the first season that I have allowed myself to attend games due to focusing on grad school, but I ready to make up for all that sacrifice. HELP, I want this to happen. ???

Southern Miss is #50. I love it!
We are ranked higher than Michigan, Nebraska, and some other names I didn't expect. ;D

I'll bet they get a real USF helmet to put thier stickers on instead of the generic gold one they used tonight! Maybe Levitt should send them one.

That's what I was thinking, too. It is certainly more natural, especially after this game, than the artificial lets-start-a-rivalry-by-behaving-badly-in-thier-house approach that Mickey Mouse U tried. U of L fans are much classier than the drunk children who trashed RJ last week.
However, rivalries develop not from proclamation but from competition. I could see where since we are both competing for bowls and the record is 2-1 (with a sound thrashing thrown in), the atmosphere is right for development.

This stadium's fine. People just have to have a little restraint, police included. The drunk students screaming profanities are bad enough as it is. Imagine how many there would be if it were on campus? I definately would stay at home then...

The New York Times sports headlines:
MIAMI 23, COLORADO 3
Hurricanes Don't Have Much to Swagger About, Except the Score
By PETE THAMEL
No. 12 Miami struggled to run the ball, sputtered in the red zone and lacked the ability to blow out an inferior team.
I don't know about the inferior part, but they better play a whole lot better than the team that was ranked three places ahead of them (UL) in the AP poll this week.
UnBULLievble!!!

I agree with CEE. Right now, I am aiming for a bowl game. I have trouble remembering that this program is so young...
Congrats to the Card's fans on this board. Certainly classier than last weeks postings from that other school...what was their name, anyway?
BTW, they did end thier losing streak tonight. So good for them. Maybe they won't be so bitter anymore, although they will always be in our shadow!

I bought my tickets on line (I will be buying two season tickets next year) and got seats on the UCF side. I have seen equally classless actions and obscenties from our student section. I will sit in neither again.
Fact is -- UCF begged us for a series we don't need. We could play other CUSA teams and should. You beg and then put on a substandard game and provide the atmosphere that others report in the parking lot (I park in disabled, so I had a short walk and only heard the yealling) then I say that we gave them the chance they so desperately wanted and that's that. No sense in continuing. They need us to give them legitimacy; we don't need them.
Let them earn respect on their own. We are willing to do the same. We will do fine moneywise.
One positive on their part. From my seat in their section, we have never cheered or chanted the way they did. I envied their passion and would like to see it on our part.
BTW, I have a degree from each University, but I am a Bull forever...
