  1. Try Frankies on Roswell Rd. I just wish Taco Mac by the river had the games on when I am in the area.
  2. If its one sided its not a rival. Just a game that is convenient between both schools.
  3. It's actually the school's and conference's call. Pitt didn't sell any Heinz field. Talk about a game you needed one at half time.
  4. Does anyone know if Rutgers sells beer at their games?
  5. USF MEN’S BASKETBALL Services For Bradley Mosley Planned For Friday And Saturday Wake To Be Held Friday Night; Service To Follow Saturday Tampa, Fla. – Funeral services for University of South Florida men’s basketball player Bradley Mosley, who passed away Oct. 29 at the age of 22 after a year-long battle with cancer, will be held this weekend. The wake will be hosted at the RJ Hendley Christian Education Center (2800 Avenue R) in Riviera Beach, Fla., on Friday, Nov. 4, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mosley’s service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Orthodox Zion Primitive Church (2900 N. Australian Ave.) in West Palm Beach, Fla. Mosley’s courageous battle against the rare disease came to an end at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, Fla., early Saturday morning. He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, Oct. 27. Mosley is survived by his eight-month-old daughter Arianna Mosley; mother, Lisa Ferguson; sister, Breona Mosley; and brother, Eddie Adams. Mosley was diagnosed last fall with renal medullary carcinoma, a rare form of cancer. Although living at home, he had been receiving treatment at the Moffitt Cancer Center on USF’s campus. Mosley arrived in Tampa prior to the 2003-04 campaign after a pair of seasons at Daytona Beach Community College. He was the only player to start in each of the team’s games that season and played all 40 minutes in 12 of the final 14 contests. He concluded the year second on the team in scoring (14.6 ppg.) and netted a career-high 30 points in a victory over Southern Miss.
  6. It would be nice to get a force in the middle. Lately every big man we have had has played very finesse. We need a strong force to set the tone for rebounding and interior D.
  7. If we are going to play a 1AA school at home. I say lets lock up FAMU or BCC for the home opener every year. The attendance for that game will be good and its a good warm up for the team. The UCF series will probably go on for at least another 3 to 5 years so we can fullfill our CUSA obligations. I think we will see how the game goes next year and before we lock in the series. By seeing how it will go, I mean: How many USF fans travel. How our athletic dept thinks our fans are treated. How our students act and represent USF. I don't think score will even matter if the series goes on. But if it works out, I think the series will go on. Saying that, I still think Louisville is our biggest rival.
  8. My thoughts and prayers are with his Family and Friends. If we can not retire #12, we should name the court after him.
  9. I heard it at an Iron Bull dinner. There was split support for the stadium there.
  10. Tuesday night was the first time I have heard anyone at USF (in a power position) talk about building an OCS. It was referred to as a down the road project. They have 70mil for other improvements they will do first for other sports before building a football stadium. Those improvements are: Totally renovate Sundome: New scoreboards with jumbo-trons.(which will probably be installed by 12/28) Make lower seats closer to the floor and bowl shaped (no open corners) (should be done by next season). 12 to 15 luxury suites (should be done by next season). New seating overall (should be done by next season). New offices for MBBall, WBBall, and Volleyball. (They hopefully want to host state highschool finals) New football practice fields closer to the locker rooms and athletic facility. New Baseball/ Softball facilities. New track facilities. (Hopefully to attract highschool state finals) New Tennis facilities. New Soccer facilities. As for the football stadium, a figure of 100 mil was used to ballpark what USF would spend on a football stadium. (Probably similar to UConn's) Which is probably about 6 to 10 years down the road. Unless someone donates 100mil to USF for it now. USF does not want to build anything on campus that is not first class. So every project will be designed and completed with the same quality as the athletic center. I personally was against an OCS. I was afraid we would have a budget stadium. I would love to have an OCS if it is built in the same quality as the Athletic center.
  11. What a bunch of douche bags. These are the same people that beg for an OCS. But are too lazy to go the show on campus. Or in actuallity they are too afraid to ask CJL their questions in person. His show is open to the public. And this is the best part its on campus in the athletic building. They serve food and drinks for any one that shows up. I have been twice and all 6 of us enjoyed the show. And that 6 was made of Coach, Louk, Mark Robinson, Me, My Wife, and another fan. So man up and ask him your questions either on the phone or in person. He has never declined to answer a question in person.
  12. Nah, just my honest projection on the game. I just hope we respond. The players were crushed after the Pitt game. I just hope they can turn the page. Congrats on the engagement, by the way.
  13. As long we keep winning, we won't have to go the D. If we do go, I would recommend staying out in Novi or Livonia.
  14. Nice to see some mid pinellas kids coming to USF. You got to love Largetto.
  15. I am going to take my chances outside of Mellon with the scalpers. If no luck then I will have that 170 to go out on the town.
  16. As a donor, I would NOT give any money to an OCS. I love going to Ray Jay. Its a shorter drive from the beach for me and has great facilities.
  17. Flying in on US Air on Fri afternoon. Staying at the Hyatt. Still not sure if I am doing the Bolts game after the game or not. Need to kick this cold first. Mike you bringing any homebrew?
  18. Its not really going to matter, since there will be less than a couple of hundred fans there. If we traveled on a consistent basis like we did for Penn State and Miami then they would think about getting shirts made. But until that day athletics is not going to worry about what we wear to away games. But I did like the shirts we wore for Bama. Another thing we need to consider is weather. Are they going to provide sweatshirts for the Rutgers or UConn game? The temps for those games will probably be in the low 50's to low 40's.
  19. I was thinking about the clubs tickets for the Pens. Is there club as nice as the Lightnings?
  20. Who is going to the Lightning game after the Pitt game? If you are what section are your tickets in? I am going to get my tickets probably this weekend.
  21. The TSA would kill to have ND play here. They won't play us, unless we are steadily ranked. They bring too much money to the table for any venue to turn them down.
