  6. Major improvements at South Florida, where the greens (link 1) are now greener (link 2), the dinky nameplate typography (link 3) now looks respectable (link 4), and the chest logo (link 5) appears to be a bit smaller than last year's (link6). Rather incredibly, all these changes were brought about by Nike, so let's give credit where it's due. http://bullsgallery.com/gallery/d/2437-2/UL_win_053007.jpg http://bullsgallery.com/gallery/d/7795-1/Picture+139USF_Bulls.jpg http://bullsgallery.com/gallery/d/2418-2/UL_win_002001.jpg http://bullsgallery.com/gallery/d/7751-1/Picture+025USF_Bulls.jpg http://bullsgallery.com/gallery/d/7745-1/Picture+019USF_Bulls.jpg http://vmedia.rivals.com/uploads/1074/F108751.jpg All from http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=lukas/060831&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab3pos2

Bulls Arrive Safely In Rome To Begin European Tour ROME, Italy (August 13, 2006) -- The University of South Florida men's basketball travel party safely arrived in Rome Sunday morning, marking the start of the program's first-ever European tour. The Bulls encountered little trouble in the group's trip from Tampa, which began early Saturday morning.  The 30-person travel party cleared customs in the mid-morning and immediately headed to the Colosseum for a two-hour tour.  Following check in at the team's Rome headquarters in the afternoon, the group was finally awarded some time to rest before a meeting and dinner.  Monday morning marks an early start as the group heads to the Vatican at 7:30 a.m. The squad's five-game schedule during the tour begins Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. local time when the team visits Rome Select at the Arena Altero Felice-Sports Center. http://www.gousfbulls.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=7700&ATCLID=539273 Roll on Monday

  18. It's been ours since 1833....and you guys did it for us... The Falkland Islands have had a complex history since their discovery, with France, Britain, Spain and Argentina all claiming possession and establishing as well as abandoning settlements on the islands. The Spanish government's claim was continued by Argentina after the latter's independence in 1816, until 1833 when the United Kingdom took control of the islands following the destruction of the Argentine settlement at Puerto Soledad by the American sloop USS Lexington (December 28, 1831). Argentina has continued to claim sovereignty over the islands, and the dispute was used by the military junta dictatorship as an excuse to invade and briefly occupy the islands before being defeated in the two-month-long 1982 Falklands War by a United Kingdom task force which returned the islands to British control. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falkland_Islands
  19. Their Falklands??? They invaded us in '82.....
