  1. Don't twitter, no twitter account.  Maybe when I retire in about 20+ more years I'll have the time to twitter.

Twitter actually saves me a bunch of time.  I follow news sources and I can get breaking news updates any second I want and when it comes to breaking news no one beats Twitter.

  2. it was expected for AW to redshirt though.  Very few guys come in an play QB as true freshman.

The concern with Trickett is that he is a redshirt junior and getting beat out by another junior.  No where for him to really go except to hope that the guy in front of him starts to struggle.

  3. You can't just let the numbers decide who played better.

Floyd's only completed passes were dump off passes to RBs or short passes to WRs.  Nothing downfield.

Eveld came in and looked much better.  His throws were decisive and on point.  He had a few bad drops and a TD called back.

If Floyd is starting against MSU then I will be thoroughly disappointed in CWT.

If CWT doesn't think Eveld is capable then put Bench in.  Floyd has proved that he isn't going to cut it.

  4. Explain for those who have no idea what you're talking about?

Clint Trickett was a former FSU backup QB to EJ Manuel and it was clear he wasn't going to beat out that super stud Winston that is at FSU now.  So he decided to transfer.  USF was in his final 2 but he chose WVU over USF.  Now he isn't playing much after week 1 in WVU.  We could have used him from the looks of our current QB situation.

  5. he showed the explosiveness that we all knew he had. but the word is and has been out about him....STRIP STRIP STRIP

as for that incomplete pass on 3rd down that wasn't reviewed....that was the very start of the momentum change in the game.

Our defense was like a hot air balloon with the gas shut off.

  6. I am not a big fan of former athletes becoming "journalist" especially when they are representing my Alma mater.

I have seen Grothe's grammar on twitter and we all can remember that interview on Jim Rome a while back.

He seems like a great guy and a good role model for kids but doesn't mean he can be a journalist.

good luck to him, i'm sure he can offer some decent insight, I just hope it gets formed in a professional manner.  It is Rivals- so I am guessing it is written and not oral.  So yes, I hope he has a proof reader.
