and dont be surprised to see this 2 deep look drastically different at the mid season point.  with a new coaching staff they have very limited time frame to make these decisions and i am not saying that the coaches are looking past McNeese St but it could be possible that they are trying to motivate a few guys.  

the beauty that i am hoping for is that our ground game is so good that we don't have to worry about who is at QB.  there are many ways to skin a cat.  we dont need a guy who can throw for 300 yards and 3 TDs a game to be successful and Willie knows that.  

i know depth charts change....obviously...

but i have never seen one released to start the year that has the opponents name on it

with McNeese St on there?  obviously a motivational tool for Coach Taggart.  I haven't seen many depth charts released at the break of camp that had game 1 noted.

There is no question that Willie is very plugged into the Harbaugh family and learned pretty much everything he knows as a player and coach from them.

I am hoping it transfers over a great deal.  But time will tell.

The NBC announces made a point last night to say that they think if BJ gets put on the Niners practice squad that someone would snatch him up.

I don't think it is that sure of a thing.  Obviously there are only certain teams that run a certain system that Daniels would fit into.  the 49ers are one of them.  

after last night it is clear that if something were to happen to Kaep that BJ would be the easiest transition.  However, I have a feeling that as Seneca Wallace learns more of the offense then he would fit in as well but also have real NFL experience

Tolzien is obviously the odd man out.  The question just remains, will the Niners be able to unload Colt McCoy?  I don't buy Harbaugh's comments for a second.  

if anyone has Bright House they should be able to look ahead in their guide and see if BHSN even has college football in the 7pm time slot.  if it as i remember it...they are probably airing a re-run of a fishing show or a high school football game from 1989

yeah that is kind of what I was hoping for.  I didn't know if Greg put one together based on what he has learned.  I just haven't had as much time to dig thru articles or follow the practice reports as much.

price of tickets or access to tickets are not factors for me being able to attend the game in person

I am looking forward to the reaction here after the game.  The way I see it, there will be 1 of 3 outcomes:

1) we win by 25+ and everyone here starts talking about BCS and going into Michigan St and winning

2) we win by less than 20 and everyone here wants to fire our DC, get a new QB, and say we will go 4-8

3) we win by less than 7 and this board just blows up

a lot of that based on knowing Colt and knowing his ceiling.  BJ is new and new is always cool to fans.  

The question will be- can Harbaugh trust Daniels more than he does Colt.

IF the Rays get a new stadium, and that is a big IF- the stadium will be in downtown Tampa. 

The fact that Crist is trying to lump the Bulls into this Rays stadium discussion is laughable.  He has these pipe dreams of developing these blighted communities and some how turning them into a pot of gold.  it aint happening.

Not a good sign for BJ....49ers are bringing in Free Agent Seneca Wallace for a tryout.

hopefully with Coach T here we can build a nice pipeline with Manatee High School.  it is obviously one of the best programs in the country and we could certainly benefit from the pipeline.  

so was it a car crash?  why would EMT be on the scene?

keep in mind that Mike Ford had one of the best youtube reels in the history of high school highlight tapes.

in high school you can stand out on pretty much natural ability.  once you take this next step everyone has that ability and it is matter of skill + hard work + focus.

i hope he puts it all together.  we need a standout playmaker at RB in Coach T's offense
