  1. even BJ could hit 80% against the USF defense (or lack thereof)

Let's not get crazy here. I've seen them at practice. 60% is best he does playing catch warming up.

J/K. It was there so I took it the lay up.

You have to take what the defense gives you. unfortunately we give a lot.

  2. NEV 27 - 38 271 71%

    RUT 23 - 42 277 55%

    BALL ST 24 - 36 244 67%

    FSU 19 - 26 242 73%

    TEMP 16 - 20 167 80%

    LOU 21 - 25 256 84%

    TOTAL 130 - 187 1457 70%

Essentially 7 out of 10 times the team passes the ball it will be completed for about 11 Yards.

I did not include Tenn Chatt

  3. WoolyBully calm down it is not that serious this is just a hypothetical situation.

Holtz's extended contract does have a buy out clause. In this hypothetical situation and in reality he would have four more years on his contract leaving only $2.0M remaining equal to one year's salary. So the likely-hood to buyout the last four years in not unreasonable.

So if you are Holtz would you roll the dice and go with an "up and coming" defensive coordinator or an "experienced" defensive coordinator?

And on the other side of the coin as a defensive coordinator is it worth the risk, understanding what could potentially happen to Holtz staff?

  4. Let's just say Holtz fires Cosh next year.

Put yourself in the shoes of an up and coming defensive coordinator or an experienced defensive coordinator.

"Would you take the job of defensive coordinator at USF?".

You would ultimately be responsible for turning around the defense in less than a year, without any opportunity to recruit. And if you fail you along with Holtz will be fired at the end of the year if things don't work out.
