Just now, Brad said:
it doesn’t negate him being the issue but this is not a very talented team.
Maybe that's the problem. He is a poor judge of talent.

I like Herm Edwards but he was more so a GM at ASU. USF does not have money or time for experiments.
-
He is reminding me of Warrick Dunn.

I am convinced that Brian Gregory is the issue. This is an athletic and some what talented team but all of CBG have the same issues; free throws and three point shooting. It's time to put a nickel on the record player.

- Has to be a former player at the collegiate level
- Demonstrated success as a HC at some collegiate level; FBS, FCS, Division II
- Brings an area of expertise either on offense or defense. (Prefer offense and hire a solid DC)
- Knows the Bay and can recruit the Bay.

Brent Key. Need a stable program builder. Unfortunately turning this around will take awhile and he's not going to be a flashy hire but knows how to build a program the right way.
Not sure how some former players would feel about this guy.

Instead of names what are the right attributes for the next head coach?
For me the HC has to be a former player, not just "daddy's walk-on", one who played the game and was a winner. During recruiting a HC who is a fmr player will recognize a player and properly set expectations. Think Leavitt, Taggart, Frost and Heupel.
Has demonstrated success as a HC at some collegiate level. I don't care if it's FCS, Division II, FBS
Brings an area of expertise either offense or defense. For USF to be successful they have to be really good at one side of the ball; offense or defense. Leavitt was defense Taggart was offense Strong was defense.
Knows the Bay and can recruit the Bay.

Does USF have to play the game or can they concede now?

I will be ridiculous just because....
- Jim Leavitt Head Coach
- Kerwin Bell Offensive Co.
- Brian Jean Mary - Defensive Co
- Danny Verpaele - Secondary Coach
- Shaun King - QB Coach

Fix a wrong and bring back Leavitt. It’s time.
The superstitious side of me believes bringing Leavitt back ends the curse.

asking out of curiosity.....

I was hoping for a moderate improvement this year. Too many blow out losses and a slight win over an FCS program.

I think the team flight is leaving out of Philly while CJS will leave out of Trenton. He will have a nice flight on Frontier Airlines.
-
Unfortunately the spirit of this team is broken and that is the biggest injury of all.
....and the spirit of the fan base.

Can Temple put up 60 pts? Yes or No

Why is Marsh still in?
They should give Brown a chance. This game and season is over.

Was just coming to post that. Have our game on the TV in the bar area and checking it every few minutes. Watching the Gators on the family room TV. Saw the last 2 throws. Time to build the future.
I think putting in Brown is waving the white flag for CJS. I am ASSUMING that Marsh had the majority of the #1 reps this week. Brown would need to come in a light things up. If you are banking on optimism then this job as a head coach is over.

Is it me or do you all feel the pressure on CJS increasing with every possession?

If Temple scores a TD here USF is in big trouble. Temple receives the ball to start the 2nd Half

If Temple scores a TD here USF is in big trouble. Temple receives the ball to start the 2nd Half. If Temple gets a FG to begin the 2nd half the game is virtually over, up 2 possessions 7-16

3 WRs in that area.. cant be serious?
I am curious about that as well. If the plan is to only throw to Weaver then make sure no other receiver is near him.

Why doesn't USF take a chance with the RBs on the wide side of the field?

They would never make it back to the dorm. They might as well bring the pillows to the gym at that point
