  1. The new owner of the Angels seems to be doing everything right and is cutting into the fan base of the Dodgers! The new owner has lowered prices at the concession, lowered ticket prices overall, offers a $7.00 hat, and has family packages that are reasonable for families!
  2. CFN has done a very poor job at predicting USF's record, I wouldn't read too much into their analysis!
  3. Will also make recruiting visits better, a top notch facility, top notch stadium, top notch University and coach-a winning combination!
  4. When visitors come through the Orlando airport might as well put your best foot forward by putting out the "good stuff"-USF merchandise!
  5. Easy PhantomI, the Sheriff is the most ardent supporter of Bulls Athletics, the guy bleeds green and gold! The Sheriff was out there to support the team, the team should be thankful and would want as many fans regardless of how vocal they may be at their games! Let it go PhantomI this is a losing battle! I don't know the Sheriff, but I do know he his loyal and passionate and gives his time and money to the Bulls, what more could you ask for?
  6. Danny Ainge is going to run the Celtics in the ground, he has made poor trades and run a good coach (O'Brien) out of town.
  7. Sorry-no foaming here over the A.D. position, just get Hollis!
  8. Michigan State seems to do very well in regards to attendance of sporting events, I think the "gimmicks" place the spotlight on the University and help raise awareness about the University.  USF needs something to get people in the Tampa Bay area involved in USF, too many people in this area are Nole fans or Gator fans with USF coming in 3rd, USF should be number ONE in this area!  USF needs marketing, right now, USF has done little to market the University or its atheltic programs-prime example the new logo-where was the marketing blitz?  I'm sure Hollis would have done some creative things to garner exposure for the new logo, when comes to the lack of marketing for the Bulls I get angry! >
  9. Losers-Tampa Bay-when did the Ivy league become the hotbed for football talent, Dallas, Giants. Winners-Detroit, Cincy, San Diego, Philly ;D
  10. Mel Kiper was on ESPN radio today raving about Reed, and how he will be a solid player for Philly.
  11. I like Hollis, and Randall Spetman, a retired colonel and former athletic director at the Air Force Academy was included due to his administrative and political skills, you have to have some skills to become a full bird colonel and oversee the operations of a military academy-a very political position.  However, there have been problems with cadets at the Air Force Academy, my vote goes to Hollis, I think he can help the football and basketball programs with scheduling, attendance, and revenue.
  12. Great Pick by the Eagles, they got a steal! Good Luck Reed, represent the Bulls well!
  13. Part of the recruiting process will hinge on the Bulls maintaining their progress towards being a winning program. A bad season could very well hinder recruiting for a couple of years a setback the Bulls can afford at this time.
  14. I have no problem with moving games to garner T.V. viewership, however,as long as impacts regarding attendance are minimized, it does help USF to be on T.V. with lackluster attendance. USF must strive for balance between T.V. and attendance.
  15. Hhhhmmmm, very interesting, a bowl in St. Pete at the Dome?
  16. I forsee Huey going to Oakland, the Raiders have four picks in the 7th round and Norv Turner likes tall receivers, just an educated quess.
  17. That's my question also, I hope they have a plan and it does not become a last minute "throw something together" hodge podge of a uni.
  18. Wow, Lebron won by a landslide, Anthony came in second and Wade 3rd. I think James and Anthony should have been co-rookies of the year. Just wanted to discuss something other than politics and war.
