If they lose 2, I bet they only backfill 1. (They are on an odd number currently).
USF or UConn.
But, if the Big 12 can't add any of the ACC, they may be more in play for us.
With the rumors swirling around of the ACC raiding the big 12 it will be interesting to see if USF holds out for the ACC…

Take that up with the whiners who don't think it looks like a college football stadium ...
To me. Maybe I am biased but I think it is looking beautiful. Go Bulls!!

Also it looks like that OCS had six sides. So would that be a Hexagon OCS? How many Hexagon OCS’s have you ever seen? We love it!!

ASSUMING the schools don’t start actually paying athletes there’s no reason to add games. Some schools already get the extra playoff money.
I mean the boosters pushing for more games since they are helping pay the athletes. They will want more bang for their bucks imo. I do believe we are already seeing more hoops tournaments starting up.

Jennings shot 38% from deep each of his last 2 seasons at KSU. He also shot 74% and 79% from FT. Assuming we do not lose any more players, it will not be a rebuilding year; it's will be reloading year.
For me, I see Brown, Jennings, and Reynolds as adequate replacements, if not better, for CY, Pryor, and Miguel.
Great stuff! Thanks! Now I’m already looking forward to next season. And this time I do believe USF is going to the Big Dance. Looking forward to hearing the out of conference schedule updates as I believe USF will be invited to a good preseason tournament.

Does it really matter?
Calipari made an interesting comment regarding that Arkansas is waiting for the NBA draft to run its course before they start putting together a roster. I believe USF is basically doing the same thing with waiting to bring in NBA hopefuls that don’t make the draft. Seems like USF is on their way to becoming a great place to develop players for the NBA which is a good thing moving forward. In other words, as long as USF keeps CAAR who has good NBA connections they are going to be fine imo. Go Bulls!!

The NIL is a hot mess and will kill college athletics if stricter rules aren’t put into place. You’re right it’s crazy how much some of these kids are getting before they do anything in college.
Makes me wonder now if we start seeing more games added to the schedules. Schools are going to want to have the players in more games imo.

Both Calipari & Tom Izzo recently have made great points regarding the portal. Izzo hates it but still loves to coach just feels that college athletics is going in a bad direction. Calipari said he is going to introduce himself to the Arkansas team, then jokingly said they don’t have a team lol. Basically said he is going to have to build a new team just about every season. So basically it will come down to the coaches so hopefully USF keeps CAAR for at least another season

You do realize what happens to bulls in those places, right?
Plus that looks too professional like the Oakland Collesium, Reds River Front Stadium, Pirates 3 rivers stadium, Eagles Veterans Stadium. Too cookie cutter for me. No thanks.

Hopefully the construction firm doesn’t wind up in the portal..

The whole thing sucks but not surprised or disappointed, I am still on board however there are no life boats left and the ship just split in half. Kind of comical that they off loaded paying the players to the fans, the result will be less fans. Eventually everyone has their limit, even die hards like myself reach it. I understand the argument that the powers to be only care about the bottom dollar and they will be fine however I see this going down like boxing, it simply disappeared. I will not throw a hissy fit, or yearn for the past, best to simply leave and move onto something else to enjoy until someone decides to ***** that up.
Just move forward. I’m never going to stop being a USF fan so I don’t care if all the programs have nothing but a walk-ons. I’m still going to be here following USF athletics. Future is still bright despite the portal craziness. Go Bulls!!

So FAU was able to keep the final four team together this year. Does that mean they have more NIL $$$?
That is the thing. FAU got to the final 4 while USF got bounced in the 2nd round of the NIT. Maybe things would be different if that was reversed

CAAR took a whole team with him to USF. He understands the game. Besides no we have room for a 4/5 star player in Knox
GB with another great positive take! Go Bulls!!

None of those guys are likely to play in the NBA, 4 or so will likely play pro but overseas. If they get a 6 figure payday, there is 0 reason not to take it. We all would likely do the same.
Think Pryor will eventually play pro. Overall his skills are too good to be ignored. I pretty much knew he was heading to the NBA after he basically lead his team to a comeback victory over Rice at the YC. He was basically the one that ignited USF’s run imo

Imagine a USF basketball world without Charley Bradley, Chucky Atkins, Dobras, etc. All of our historically great players would have left for "greener" pastures after 1 or 2 years if they played today. I guess there just won't be any 3 to 4 year USF greats anymore.
Probably easier to think USF is now dealing with UK one & done issues lol.

Just the new era in college athletics. Wish them well & thanks for a fun season. Go Bulls!!

im older than you
what keeps my attitude so young
my thoughts ideas evolve with the times
i happily accept that all the players are on one year deals now
Plus let’s be honest. USF was not winning all that much during the pre NIL era. Big schools like Bama pretty much was paying players under the table anyway. Might as well have it out in the open. A big school like USF located in a growing Tampa Bay Area will only be positive imo. Now imagine how it will be when USF gets that ACC invite.

Because no construction project ever has fallen behind schedule. Ask the Rays.
Lol I’m still wondering if the Rays stadium will actually end up in St Pete of eventual end up in Tampa. They still have to vote for it to move forward in St Pete.

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder. Regardless, it will be our "ugly" structure ....
I’m just happy that it will have a unique look and it won’t look like a spaceship like the renovated Soldier Field or AZ Cardinals stadium.

It would look better if the visitor side was upgraded to match the home side.
It is going to turn out fine. USF hired a great construction company
