Yes, in that regard, I have found recent events somewhat liberating. Instead of being so invested -- emotionally and financially -- I just drop in and watch for fun when I want to.
Besides, I can still get my money's worth coming here beach, moan and commiserate with my fellow disillusioned curmudgeons.

Well AD MK better use his ACC connections after the ACC gets about hundreds of millions times two in buyout money.
This summer can’t get here soon enough. I expect we should hear where FSU & Clemson end up going. Those are the dominoes that we need to fall imo

What we lost this year:
Youngblood - 41.6% and 82.9% FT
Placer - 40.3% and 76.5% FT
Miguel - 39% and 80.2% FT
Pryor - 35.2% and 81.5% FT
Will be tough to replace those numbers. Jennings will replace. Not sure if Brown will replace. Green probably will not. And Reynolds could possibly replace.
Also looking at last season I don’t think USF loses those early season games next season moving forward. Also I expect them to be in a decent preseason season tournament which should help their NET rankings. Last season I believe the out of conference schedule and bad losses kept them out of the big dance. Lessons learned.

TBF, we have had Wake Forest level of fan support over the last decade, having to rely on OOC bigger programs to sell the stadium (UF/FSU/Bama/etc). If we were selling 40-50k tickets per game in that same time, we'd be building a 40-50k seat stadium. It's an unfortunate reality. Donate, buy season tickets, go to games, and we'll be expanding in no time.
Exactly! I think the capacity is perfect for now.

Interesting, but no way Notre Dame joins the ACC, and the " you pick up South Florida to secure them from the Big 10" is just hilarious
I have a better shot at dating Rihanna, Zendaya, and Jennie Kim at the same time than we do at getting into the Big 10.
ACC and Big 12 ,however, at some point is possible

All he said was that they did it the right way. That’s objectively true. That’s nothing to shame him for, he’s allowed to point out factual information. That fact is why UCF was invited to the Big 12 and USF treaded water for more than a decade. Just accept it, we were bested by Central Florida in football program development.
To CJL’s credit he knew USF had to outperform UCiF and he sure made sure of it while he was HC. Going 4-0 including a 64-12 rout that still will haunt O’Leary.

ACC Football Rx: Rx: How to Settle with FSU+Clemson
ACCFOOTBALLRX.BLOGSPOT.COM
This blog is about ACC Football - past glory, what went wrong, and how to fix it and get back to the glory days again.Goes on to say:
For any of this to work, ESPN would have to agree to at least keep the ACC at the same level of media rights fees. "The Dude" suggested that ESPN would renegotiate the ACC contract down, but JRSEC (Auburn fan and CSNBBS moderator) doesn't agree...
[The ACC] won't be taking less. ESPN intends [a brokered settlment] as an invitation [for the ACC] to expand with product they desire. It's their way of saying 'if you help us we'll help you'. If FSU and Clemson depart you stand at 15 plus 1. You pick up South Florida to secure them from the Big 10 for ESPN and you add two to the West to create a division.
I agree with JR. The ACC would be wise to replace FSU with USF immediately, then look to expand back to 18 + Notre Dame -- ideally by poaching high-value "4 Corners" teams - or even the combo of TCU and Kansas - from the Big XII. This would secure the ACC as one of the power conferences - even if it wouldn't be fully equal to the top two.
Now this makes a lot more sense and I do believe is more likely to happen than what some of those big 12 homers keep spewing lol

Lol he is not even trying to hide his big 12 bias. The facts are that no ACC will leave for the western conference known as the big 12. The PAC12 debacle has them high as a kite…

Maybe he can help USF with scheduling some games against his alma mater. Good addition to the staff

I found a way to avoid all this confusion and yesterday gave what little reserves I have left to the fine folks running my federal and state governments. It really took all the discretion out of discretionary spending.

Just put all the funds into one bucket and let USF athletics decide where to distribute. Add a percentage to the food & beverage and will continue to eat tons so that USF can continue to eat! Go Bulls!!

Who dat?
Just some legend in Key West. He will ask the customers that walk into his Irish Kevin’s pub where they are from and then he & the crowd will yell Who gives a s$&t! After the new customers tell them where they are from.

As the great Irish Kevin would say…… Who gives a sh$t!!

Why would they give their concession profits to the players when they can simply dupe the fans into paying them so they can keep all the money. I think everyone is on the same page, no problem with the kids getting paid but why are the ones making all the money off of them not paying them. This model is so ****** up that it has no choice but to collapse into a heaping pile of ****.
Hell yeah! I think it will eventually get resolved by crashing. Until then I’m gonna continue to eat tons & drink up as much whiskey to help USF. Go Bulls!!!

Easy. USF is located in Tampa Bay which has a lot of businesses that support USF. Relax, we will be fine.
