    People are always going to complain. I remember reading in the boards a long time ago about how a lot of students didn't attend games because they were held too late (7pm) and that it interfered with pre-parties for Ybor. Now this game would be too early and students won't attend because _____ . No matter the game time, those students crazy about USF football are going to be there. The other ones are always a toss-up and I could care less about them.

    Wow, CJL makes me want to get a pet skunk to guard my house when he puts it that way. Is good to hear him making a few comments not related to our "mighty" opponent of the week.

    I like our chances against Alabama if we were to win out. I'm confident that our defense would score a pair of TDs.

    Bearcat fans, is ok, UCF was talking smack all the way through their 17 game losing streak.

    Well, he did have the facts straight because he said we were starting two years after. The use of "fledging" was correct in that sentence because the program overall was still developing.

    Another thing I was thinking was to send a few letters to a few coaches that vote in order to make our case. Is so easy to delete or ignore an email but if we send one of those extra extra large greeting card envelopes then that would definitely catch their attention. They will open it just out of curiosity at least and read it. The content of the letter would stick to their minds when voting. Hey, it is not professional but after all we are just fans that want to get the point across. Ok you can now flame me for this idea, go ahead.

    So what would be used instead for the "Worst of times" section? The 9-2 season that still didn't get us a bowl? or our first losing season in DI-A?

    Geez. I don't even want to know what the Cheerleaders/SunDolls Section does for you.

    Isn't it great how our "own" Tampa Bay's 10 is partening up with Checkers (a Tampa based business) for their UF/FSU promotion "Pick Your Champ!"? This kind of local support for the local college team brings joy to my heart. Nothing like Tampa businesses going all out to support USF.

    Hey HOTMello, is the drumline going to march out of the stadium again if we win? If they do it they should try to start from the student section right behind the Pirate Ship, and do it while there are still students around. Last time most of them were gone by the time the drumline marched out.

    A computer is not going to be like "Hmm, well I got beat by [insert team here] so let me give them a vote so my loss doesn't look as bad." A coach can vote based on self-interest but a computer can't. Computer formulas are designed by humans but those formulas are designed to analyze facts. A formula doesn't give more points to a team based on its past glory, or who its coach is. And the other argument that not all formulas spit out the same rankings is also flawed because those formulas give importance to different statistics. Computer rankings are not perfect but they are still better than human polls.

    What makes even less sense is the fact that the Louisville, Rutgers, and West Virginia coaches didn't even cast a single vote for us even though it will benefit them, and the conference for us to be ranked.

    Is a "skunk" reference. There is an article out there that says we can be the skunk of the BCS if we win out, or something like that. I like the idea but I would save it for the WV/USF game if we win our next two.

    Yeah, that one is another thriller. The score is 0 - 0. Wow, they should just skip the first 110 minutes (includes OTs) and go straight for the penalty kicks.

    All these predictions are pointless when we still have games remaining on the schedule. Seriously, did any of the "experts" predicted the ChiSox to win the World Series? There are no cupcake games anymore just look at Standford(losing to a DivIII school), and at UF (almost losing to Vandy.)
