  1. Velcro- If Cann has to play PF at 6'4 he is done. Howard is so freaking good..... I was really impressed during the scrimmage- why don't you think he'll play Joe? That kid better be going to class.... Dammit I forgot Gransberry isn't available untl midseason... That means our center is Frane and we have no real backup. We need to recruit some more size and quick. Same with Verejo? If so we are screwed- I am getting talked out of this pretty quick....
  2. Just got to thinking: C Ganstberry PF Richardson (I think he is actually a decent 4) SF Mattis SF VErejo PG Howard(kid is awesome if he recovers we'll be in for a treat) Bench Dennis Buckley Williams Curry Markusovich That is a good starting lineup. Buckley has been dissapointing this year, and I think he may be better as 6th man- I would rather have a true 4 in their to suck up rebounds- then again maybe a light will go on being its his Senior year (see holmes or swift). I left Cann off on purpose- don't see this kid ever playing ball. Hopefully we can sign 3 more freshmen to build up the program's depth- we are still a little too thin.
  3. **** my grammar really sucks in the am
  4. wah wah. First we complain about people not showing up. Then we complain about people showing up. Next we will be complaining that not enough people have USF tatoos. The alums at the same game have been their the whole year and are burned out. If you sat through BCC you know what I mean. Also, student should always be 10x crazier than alums. Besides the point, the alums I was by were very into the game.
  5. There are plenty of teams with as many injuries as us- We just do not have the depth.
  6. Csher: Here is another one: How do you view our women's lacrosse team this year? I saw their schedule and it looks tough.... We are playing a lot of scholarship teams and teams that are ramping up to have scholarship athletes. Can you breakdown the team's chances game by game?
  7. Csher I have a question: Are you really only 29? That is remarkable! What is the name of the aging disease that you have?
  8. Csher: Thank you for posting! I never thought that when I started this thread my hero (you) would actually post on it! The personal insight to your health problems is grotesque but much appreciated. What more insight can you give us about you? I think especially the ladies on this board would like to read it. You are too modest- I do not think there is a better person to have a chat with- my only concern would be if the server's bandwith would support it. Would you dye your hair green if we made it to the NCAA tournament? If you want to play poker with a real fish than come find me! I would be honored to sit at a table with you sir!
  9. Bulliever what is the update? Have you heard from from CSher's reps?
  10. BullszFan4life- Why are you calling Csher old? Life begins at 40! It's the new 30!
  11. We would not be near the top of CUSA. Did you see the BCC or FIU game? Have you seen UAB (who manhandled us) or Memphis play? Sorry BullGator.
  12. Dean Smith said it best: "coaches don't win games players do". Coaches win games by recruiting over the summer, and really only have a minimal effect when the game begins. It's hard to tell if RMC is a good coach because he hasn't recruited the neccesary depth and talent. We have two guys injured right now. Pretty much every team in America has 2-3 injuries at any given point in the season.- the difference is that most teams have 12 scholarship players. It is not really hard luck as much as ineffective recruiting. I think RMC would quit before he got fired this season (did you see the look on his face after the game? he looked suicidal). I am excited about the transfers he recruited, if he can grab 3 more quality players we have a chance of being good next year. Cann I think is garbage, Howard is very very very good and will make a huge difference. Buckley sucks- but maybe a he will be one of those players where a light goes on his senior year (ala swift and holmes), Mattis is great. But the key is for him to actually get 3 more top flight recruits. Veredejo and Gantsberry have to at replace Holmes and Jones-2 of the 3 top guys on the team. So the only real additions at this point are Howard and Curry- which will be huge don't get me wrong. I have seen Aris Williams and Markusovic play- I am not excited about them at all. I am watching right now to see who we add, because that alone will determine next year's success. So as much as I hate to say wait for next year- what else are you going to do?
  13. Hey I really like the summer chat series. How about a winter chat series? Please schedule a chat with Collin Sherwin. It is safe to say that he transends USF athletics, is the stick the holds up the house, and the spark that starts the fire. I know there will be some challenges getting on his calendar, but you've gotta make this happen. Know one knows usf athletics top to bottom like Csher. I think a chat with Collin with increase the membership on this board exponentially.
  14. You have got to give it to James Holmes. He really made himself a player over the summer.
  15. bullzfan4life this is college basketball. Coaches leave for other jobs. No one stays anywhere forever.
  16. Good to see this happen. It seems like this guy can definetly play. Kudos to RMC and Coach Gary. Why does Seth come up everytime we do anything in Bball? Are you really questioning the integrity of a guy who put together an entire fundraising effort to help New Orleans in his spare time? You guys are like a schmuck who cannot get over a girl. She is hot, someone else with a nicer car is banging her, and she's not coming back. If you guys think this makes RMC a better recruiter than Seth you are on crack. We have and continue to struggle with recruiting. And for some reason the fans at USF are the only people in the entire country who think Seth is a bad coach. It is laughable to observe the bias.
  17. Wait a second.... This team does not come to play no matter what. They were asleep against BCC and it showed- they blew a 10 point lead to a 4-6 school that gets routinely routed by mid majors. They looked lethargic and disinterested- the same way they played against FAU (luckily FAU is really, really, really bad), and probably FIU (but I was not there so I can't say for sure). I am not one to enjoy moral victories. That being said, tonight was fun to watch and they gave a great effort- but it makes those other losses burn a little more. You cannot give them credit for being a team that "brings it every night". I wish they were, but sorry they are not. Big East basketball is fun though- hopefully they can bring an effort like this every night from here on out.
  18. who cares if people want to sit. I like to sit. I don't care if you stand.
  19. I hope we go to a bowl every year. I will be depressed if we miss out next year. Did not want weekend to end. HNY everyone.
  20. Oh no please no. So sad. Someone's gotta talk some sense into him. Hopefully he knows something we do not.
