  1. Not sure if most of our fans would rather have the Miami road trip...    There was a lot of crying about the conditions in Miami last time around and we have yet to make a trip to Orlando.   As someone who has attended a few UCF games the conditions are not that much different for now.   Miami has the edge for being Miami, but venue wise it is pretty close.   The deciding factor will likely be how our fans are treated in Orlando.

As for me, I would rather go to Miami.   We had a great time down there and I can go to Orlando anytime, but O'Leary is right about it being an easy win.    8-)

  2. UCF is the turnaround team of the year.   The coach and the whole team deserve props for the turnaround.   CUSA may not be the greatest conference, but it is still a step up from the MAC and UCF did not win a game in the MAC last year, but could be CUSA champs.

Hey we won our game.   I hope they win out and win their bowl.   Undefeated until we beat them next year. ;D

  3. Still don't understand why our fans participated in that stupid wave.  Makes us look kind of dumb.

Why didn't we just participate in the "Go canes" chants as well?  We let them talk junk to us, beat the hell out of our team and then help them "celebrate" by doing the wave?!  Makes no sense.

Miami fans started the wave while they were on offense because the game was out of hand by that time

They wanted to make noise while their offense was on the field it only seemed right to help out.    Some of their players actually motioned to the crowd to stop.

  4. There was an alternative to parking at the Orange Bowl mentioned on one of the cane sites.   You can go to the UM campus and park for free and they have inexpensive buses that will take you from there to the game.   The campus is actually very nice.  It is understandable why they do not want to play at Robbie.  The Orange Bowl is much closer to the UM campus with Robbie pretty much on the other side of the world.

The whole experiance helps with understanding why attendance has been a problem for the Canes.   You have to give them props for drawing fifty-eight thousand for our game.   The behavior of the fans was not the worse I have seen.   While at an LSU / UF game some Gators got physical with a couple little old ladies because they were wearing LSU gear.    At the Orange Bowl there was some jearing, but it seemed to be all in fun and I never feared for my safety; however, I have been in some bad situations in some very rough areas, so I may not have the same sensitivity level as many.

  5. The Canes have a better football team.   Our team is pretty good, but we are not at their level.   Their d took over the game.   We made mistakes because we had a mismatch going against that D.   Our D actually played fairly well, but they were on the field all night.   We can still have a great year, but sometimes you play someone that is just better.   Its not a melt down to lose to a better team.   Our guys played hard all night and I am proud of how they did not quit.    If they had mailed it in it would have gotten much uglier and we wouldn't be sitting around trying to turn our QB into the goat.   This is a team sport and one player does not make or break you.   This time the Canes had the better team.
