Looks like Matt will be getting some help.  If things go as it looks right now we should have a couple stud running backs to help carry the load.   There is also some QB help coming in that may be enough with a strong running game should the worse happen.  

Then again we could have a plane crash or the world could end.   California could fall in the sea and we would lose smazza?   How could we go on?

They should be improving going forward.  The seniors were all brought in by the last coach.   They also had several transfers during the transition.  Going for it early on forth down near his own thirty showed what he thought of the players he had to work with.   Of course if I'm wrong they should have a new coach in about three years.    

Hard to say...  Let's see how UF does with the Buckeyes.   After the Rose Bowl it could even be questioned just how good Ohio State is, but at least they have beaten everyone that they played.    :-/

The Glazers have been great for Tampa.   They have invested the money to make the Bucs a decent team.   If it was not for them we would not have such a great place to play and the Bucs would likely be long gone.   The Bucs are down this year, but it is not due to anything the Glazers have done.   If you had been around for the last owner of the Bucs you would love the Glazers.   We could have it much much worse.  Also that ad they ran recently was very classy.   Hopefully some of our current Bulls will later be Bucs.  It would be great to watch them at the next level playing for the local team.

Me & The Mrs. will be there, but I have not looked to see where the seats are located.

This is one of the few bowl related events.   Does anyone know anything about the Luncheon the day before the bowl game.   Will there be access for visiting fans or is this event strictly for locals and / or players and coaches?    :-?

Most likely, but a win in the next two games could still land us somewhere else.   In any case back to back bowl appearances is pretty sweet.     8-)

The Gator Bowl could put that match up together, but they will probably do something closer to the projected Oklahoma / Clemson matchup.   Now that has to be a big draw in Jacksonville.     ;D

That said a rematch with our former conference mates wouldn't be all bad.    Need to get our team back up to speed on eye gouging and dodging hot chocolate that might be tossed in thier direction.    Anyone still have any links to some good mullet pics?

Noon games in November in Florida dont suck. It wont be that hot like it was in Orlando. USF had better not schedule noon games in September though. I am fine with the noon games in November or late October. USF fans are going to have to get use to these noon games sooner or later because they will keep on coming now that we are in the BIG EAST. At least we dont have to play on Tuesday nights like C-USA.

Oh, I don't know about that.   Playing a northern school at noon in early September might be just what the Doctor ordered.  It may not hurt our chances much in the next two games...   there is a big difference between Tampa and NY / PA at noon even in November.

BIG EAST teams are not getting much respect.   We better have a solid OCC schedule if we ever expect to play in the BCS championship game.  

Of course we still need to win the BIG EAST first or just get to a bowl game this year.   The top of the BIG EAST looks more beatable, but there don't seem to be any walkovers at the bottom...

If I was a Texas fan I would think it was great!   The Sooner fans sure didn't like it when we visited OU.    At Kansas I even saw Jayhawks doing the upside down horns sign.   Maybe someday we can have the same kind of success that Texas has had.   Having a link to Texas isn't all bad.  

Kind of makes you wonder what UCF was thinking when they scheduled Texas to open their new stadium.   My understanding is they play UF, USF and then come home to Texas the next week.      [smiley=roflmao.gif]
