    For a basketball coach to be successful at USF, he must find players that will develop and be able to develop them. He basically needs to be able to repeat what he did at KSU. We aren’t getting the ranked kids and we won’t turn it around overnight

    Just added Texas WR Jaden Alexis didn’t play much there but highly rated coming out of HS and already rated as a transfer by 247.

    I think it’s even worse. At least football and baseball we are in talent rich areas so a good coach can build a team. Florida doesn’t have as much basketball talent, and those it does produce usually leave the state

    Can’t blame the kid, if I have a chance to go play at Virginia or USF, that’s a no brainer.

    Don’t think this guy is coming to start, but we will see. I mean this guy basically is building from scratch and needs starters and bench, and not like he has much to sell at USF other than sunshine and playing time. Our record as a basketball program is pretty dismal. If this guy is to work out here, he is going to have to start from zero.

    I was told not to worry. The Weekend Conference games are what matter and with losing teams like Cincinnati and Memphis on our next 6 games, we would be ok.

    Added SR Guard Jose Placer from north Florida 6’1 174. 14.6 pts per game, 36.6 three point shooter. Had 33 points vs Kennesaw State with 10 three pointers

    You are assuming he had a choice. He is a graduate transfer, so if Duke saw that he wouldn’t be starting this year, why keep him?

    He was on their roster. Not sure if he played in Spring Game, but he just came on TF today.

    Agree,but here is the reality. None of USF’s incoming transfers have been re-rated. Yet TE Jackson Long that transferred from USF to GT has been re-rated as .8500, now you tell me what college stats they used in that re-rating?

    Here is the reality of Transfer scores. A player transferring into a P school gets re-rated and that score is used in rankings. A player going to a nonP school doesn’t get rated as fast. As of now none of our players coming in have been rated

    No doubt both had to make changes, but what is happening at Colorado hasn’t been seeing before. So far 52 transfers, decommit from major recruit, transfers of guys that transferred in with him, plus the video situation. It just seems chaotic. Match that to a tough schedule and there will be questions. If he doesn’t beat Nebraska or Colorado St early in season, there will be rumblings. If nothing else, we will all be watching.

    I know everyone will be watching him at Colorado. He is now over 50 transfers including a player that transferred in from JSU following him. That’s a lot of players to replace and as we all well know the Transfer Portal is roulette

    We have really hit tough times lately, but we haven’t been bad before and we can bounce back up. Here are the weekly appearances by schools outside the P conferences. First the Four leaving for Big12 BYU 100, Cincinnati 92, UCF 54, Houston 51 The Rest still left outside Boise 165, Fresno 52, USF 47, Memphis 27, Coastal Carolina 24, Marshall 24, Northern Illinois 23 SMU 19, SDSU 18
