  1. Sorry, couldn't go at the last minute. No pics.
  2. Here is an update from Eric Soncrant: Talked with our folks. We will hold the grassy area where Greenburgopolis used to be for this tailgate in between games. The Sun Dome will put out some trash cans for you as well. You guys just bring whatever else. I don't think alcohol will be a problem but we have a call into campus police just to get their rubber stamp not to disrupt the event. This in no way means get a keg, but I don't think sharing a cooler of beers will be frowned upon. I'll keep you posted on the alcohol and start working on the coaches attendance. Thanks for the effort. Go Bulls!
  3. Thanks. I await your response. I already am pretty sure we will have to drink out of plastic cups on campus.
  4. I was hoping you would read this Eric. I was also thinking about getting Capogna's dugout to see if they want to help us with food since they joined the bullbackers. I just want to make sure there are no rules or regs as far as grills, coolers, what not in the parking lot. I guess I could call the sun dome and ask but maybe somebody here knows.
  5. I see the thread is getting read, but no replies. I guess no one wants to commit to going to a game and hanging out with other bulls fans. Even if you can't make it all day at least come hang out for the t'gate and the men's game.
  6. Guys (and girls), I posted this on the bullbackers forum but wanted to throw out to the rest of you.  The BBers are organizing a "Bullbacker Basketball Day" on Feb. 5th.  Here is the content of my post: We were hoping to get some other bulls fans to join us and show off the organization.  We are always looking for new members to help carry us forward and bring new ideas to the table.  So come out and join us for the day even if you don't want to join the org.  Go Bulls!!
  7. UCF considers building stadium on campus Wednesday, January 5, 2005 ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) The University of Central Florida is considering building a football stadium on its main campus and moving its home games from the Citrus Bowl in downtown Orlando. The design under consideration would cost about $40 million to build. UCF President John Hitt says it would be paid for and supported by boosters and ticket and concession sales, not state dollars. Construction could begin as early as this summer and be completed before the 2006 football season. UCF has played at the Florida Citrus Bowl stadium near downtown Orlando since the team's inaugural season in 1979.
  8. Thanks for all the New Years greetings from all the fellow board members and right back at ya!
  9. These schedules are looking better and better. I am so psyched about the future of this team.
  10. And don't forget, as E.T. always says, "You can pay the donation quarterly". So, get a group of 8 people together, split the donation and get club access. You still have to have the donation under one name and then everyone else pays that one person back. We have a group of 16 that splits $2000.
  11. That's why Ybor gets a bad rap. Although it is in close proximity to Ybor it is also close, probably closer, to the Central Park projects. It was at a late night fast food location at 7th Ave and Nebraska.
  12. I am sure bullbackers will organize something also. Merry Christmas
  13. What? You haven't had one yet Terry? Disappointed. Happy Holidays!
  14. Sorry guys, I won't be a near computer at night until christmas eve.
  15. Dean, at the luncheon the other day, Woolard was asked about the time change. He admitted that the evening games were a better draw and even asked for a show of hands if they liked the night games better. Of course, everyone liked the night games better. He also understands the Dome and attendance are a priority at this school. I think he knows what has to be done but came in at time when we were jumping leagues and he has been attending a lot of BE meetings. Hopefully once we are there, he will start addressing these issues.
  16. Velcro, since you are guys are talking Greek, what makes the cost differentiate between $10-75 per month? And if we (the board) put in about $300-400 would that cover the cost plus your (or someone's) time?
  17. I hope he stays and has a great (full) season and shows consistency and ups his stock. We will really need him next year.
  18. Not that I know all the facts, but she could have just gone to the alumni suite or somewhere else, and not necessarily left.  With that being said, I agree and would hope that an announcement will be made sooner rather than later about the OC. ÂÂ
  19. Looks like tim won the finale. Good job tim. Too bad for the Bulls
  20. I think you are right cool. When the program becomes a tradition, and the students that are graduating during the football years become donors, then we will have hard core fans and not fair weathered fans. A lot of the older alumni grew up loving basketball and football teams from around the state. We have to build a tradition here and then maintain it. College football is just fun to watch, even when you're team is losing. It's just not as fun to watch then.
  21. I know you are probably kidding, because I am sure we are all glad of the growth of this program. I am thankful this season is over, but more importantly I am thankful that I was able to watch this team. A team in my own backyard. The USF bulls football team has spoiled us. It has given us this message board and new friends (and probably new people to dislike). I am grateful that we can talk about USF football, the good times and the bad times. that I can go to rayJay and watch college football rather than watching someone else's team on tv. I know we all wich this season was better and we are allowed to ***** and moan as fans, but I just wanted to express my enthusiasm as a bulls fan. I can't wait to be 50, 60, 70 and attending football games and saying I was there when the tradition was being built. I know everyone thinks the same way but now as we move from football to basketball, I just wanted to pay tribute to our football program. I love it!!
