South Florida is familiar with the courts at the Ring Tennis Complex, the warm Florida weather and, of course, the Florida Gators.
Coach Agustin Moreno hopes that will help when the Bulls get a re-match with Florida at 1 p.m. today in the second round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Tournament.
"They're a tough team," Moreno said. "But we are, too."
The Gators defeated the Bulls, 4-1, on Feb. 8 in Gainesville, a match in which USF took Florida to three sets on three of the six singles courts.
South Florida (17-5) advanced to the second round with a 4-0 win against Maryland (12-12) on Friday. Neyssa Etienne clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Ramona But at No. 1 singles.
