  1. Yep. Same. I matched 2 numbers for $4. Woohoo!
  2. I will retire and move to Tampa so I can attend all of the USF sporting events. Of course, I will donate a ton and just maybe, have the OCS named after me.
  3. I don't know. The money coming in from the teams exiting the ACC will be a nice reward for those teams that are staying. UConn, USF and Memphis will move up as soon as offered. As the B12 is out of their pro rata adds, G5 movement into the B12 is unlikely.
  4. Missed this and Hokie Mark's response in the ACC FB blog. ACC Football Rx: Should I Stay or Should I Go - ACC vs XII ACCFOOTBALLRX.BLOGSPOT.COM This blog is about ACC Football - past glory, what went wrong, and how to fix it and get back to the glory days again. Bottom Line I just don't see any clear-cut advantage for the Big XII over the ACC -- but I do see advantages the other way. Unless an ACC school knows 100% that they will end up in either the Big Ten or the SEC, there's no better alternative than to stay put and wait this out, in my opinion - regardless of the fear-mongering from the Big XII and FSU fans!
  5. They've used their pro rata adds. But would magically create room for FSU and others I'm sure.
  6. I agree. It's Dennis Dodd saying that FSU and Clemson might end up in the B12. There are others that think he's just another B12 homer.
  7. I'm a fan of a FL University that is AAU. In the article: Big 12 could be destination for FSU and Clemson if Big Ten doesn't take them CBS Sports' Dennis Dodd pegged the Big 12 as a possible landing spot for FSU and Clemson should the AAU accreditation issue rear its ugly head come realignment time and keep the two ACC flight risks out of the B1G.
  8. ACC Football Rx: If the ACC loses 2, who should be #16? ACCFOOTBALLRX.BLOGSPOT.COM This blog is about ACC Football - past glory, what went wrong, and how to fix it and get back to the glory days again. Back in the East... Meanwhile, are they no ACC-worthy teams left in the East? I think USF gets the nod if the ACC loses both FSU and Miami - and may even get in if they just lose FSU. Tulane is an interesting possibility. The Green Wave were once in the SEC (along with Georgia Tech), but chose to leave. They've since deemphasized and reemphasized sports - but can the ACC trust them to keep trying? I love what they do at Memphis, but realistically, they have a better shot at getting into the Big XII. UConn remains an excellent basketball-only prospect, but adding the Huskies for football may be too much to ask. Army and Navy are not out of the question. Temple is a possibility, too. I wonder if an ACC without Clemson would ever consider adding Coastal Carolina?
  9. It's us against the world really. I'm tired. This endless fight for inclusion is too much.
  10. Another way to say that a G5 team wouldn't have the ability to ever join the upper teir permanently. Only G5 subject to this? Would about the independent UConn?
  11. The lawsuits that we hear about are much more damaging to the P5 conference members I believe. But as they have the revenue streams to payout if needed (and we don't), I'm uncertain where their risk level is versus ours for damage from retro pay-for-play. The article has quotes from WVU and Syracuse administrators. They're concerned. Still, they've never been relegated to G5 status. Hard to sympathize.
  12. With the conference already widening its reach last year to California with the USC and UCLA additions, stretching deep into Florida seems like a no-brainer," Crawford prefaced before saying, "Miami just wants out of the ACC, period, one source said previously. There is a fear, however, among those close to the Miami program, that the Big Ten is only going to seek out FSU and Notre Dame during its next round of expansion, which would leave Miami without its top choice."
  13. FOX Sports, AEG launch new postseason tournament: The College Basketball Crown WWW.FOXSPORTS.COM FOX Sports and AEG are launching the College Basketball Crown, a 16-team men's postseason tournament, which will begin in Spring 2025.
