  1. FSU and Clemson likely leaving ACC for Big Ten since SEC may not be interested FLYWAREAGLE.COM FSU and Clemson are FSU and Clemson are "gonna leave" the ACC according to college football insider Brett McMurphy, who said as much during an appearance on The Paul Finebaum Show -- and the Big Ten, not the SEC, could be where the two southern schools land.
  2. Is More ACC Expansion on the Way? ORANGEFIZZ.NET Four possible schools have been identified as options for ACC expansions. How well do they fit in with the conference? South Florida USF would be a replacement, albeit a mediocre one, for Florida State if the Seminoles successfully leave the ACC. They pick up the number 12 Tampa media market, but are probably have the weakest overall athletics out of any possible addition.
  3. Remember when the B12 was down to 8 members before adding the 3 G5 teams from the American. I don't recall any hand-wringing over the B12 and how they would lose revenue. And they were scrambling as OU and UT we're off to the SEC. Seems disingenuous on his part.
  4. Goes on to say: Remember that FOX Sports did not BID for the college football playoff, they did not BID for the NBA, and they didn't reup for WWE Smackdown. Sometimes the smartest moves a TV network makes is the moves they don't make. By not engaing in all fo those expendutures of future, they have money available to add an ACC school or two to the Big Ten. And we have already seen that FOX Sports is investing Friday night Big Ten football. I keep warning people this, but do not be surprised if FOX sports continues to drop their investment in Big 12 football or drops it all together besides a few games here and there - like they did with the Pac-2 games where they just picked up three matchups.
  5. Oregon State, Utah, San Diego State, USF tied to rumor about ACC expansion candidates FLYWAREAGLE.COM Former Saturday Blitz contributor Luke Fletcher tagged Oregon State, Utah, San Diego State, and USF to a post explaining ESPN's... While it's unclear whether or not Fletcher was implying those teams fit the criteria or not, it is the second time Oregon State and USF have been tied to the ACC. Longtime college football radio host Greg Swaim believes there's a real possibility that ESPN avoids Fletcher and Williams' proposed routes and instead decide to cancel the ACC's Grant of Rights agreement. https://flywareagle.com/posts/oregon-state-utah-san-diego-state-usf-tied-rumor-acc-expansion-candidates
