  1. In search of 4 tickets to USF-Temple if anyone is looking to offload them. Would rather see a holder benefit than the ticket site.
  2. This one looks like a must get... hopefully mom wants to keep him driving distance away.
  3. I’m simply stating it seems hard to imagine we would chase after a guy states away that they didn’t see major upside in.... and that It’s fair to think that a “mr football” in whatever class in TN probably doesn’t get the same attention players from FL, TX, GA, etc do.
  4. Their play last year should have confirmed that...
  5. It looks like our Player head of recruitment is all over this.
  6. TN is usually not the hotbed of recruiting activity... I would think our HC would know what he is looking for in WR. I doubt we would be trying to pluck a guy from states away that the staff didn’t see as an overlooked prospect.
  7. I don’t think anyone knows, but it would be heart breaking to see him take the HC role at another school given the dire need we have for someone to put more into an imperfect job at an imperfect place than can reasonably expected in the coaching world.
  8. Then we can look forward to landing some of the best academic kids not rated by any recruiting service possible and a bunch of O-lineman not capable of establishing his power run game. I had dinner with Skip when the coaching staff visited Dallas and found him to be absolutely captivating to hear speak. But the guy has proven his formula isn’t going to work the upper mid-major type conferences. You can do what he wants if you are already elite and get your pick of recruits or are in a lower tier without as tough competition. The AAC is probably tougher than the BEAST was to recruit in. No Play off tie in or true elevated status in recruiting, but we definitely face the toughest set of teams outside of that field and have to go against many up and coming very aggressive coaching programs.
  9. He could get them with a real budget. Most of his time here the coordinator budget was tiny—contributing to constant turnover. The other part of that story was him being so intense to work for. I would be very fine with the folks I expect he could find quickly that are top caliber.
