  1. If you plan to run an up tempo offense as your main scheme, I say don’t change a thing.

Until this last game, defense was seemingly decent. This year means squat, no one loses eligibility. It’s almost a blessing, that Scott gets a year with these guys. Maybe a handful of people transfer out at the end, and Scott’s recruits get in a bit earlier.

Man, you guys were partying when I was born!

I had the luxury of being at USF for those big upset games, reaching #2, camping outside the sun dome to get in line for tickets. The atmosphere was electric at that time.

My dad is an Ohio State alum, I remember calling him and saying “we might see you in the national championship this year”, and then It all came tumbling down

Prior to ECU, Weis did little play calling wise to help-out the QBs

The ECU game featured more screens, quick slants and crossing patterns, which is part of the reason McCloud was able to complete 75% of his passes

    i hope that trend continues

So they adjusted the scheme to their players? At least they didn’t force the scheme they wanted for an entire season.

All we need is a manageable offense and a shore up that defense and may win a few.

When you lose to ECU .... it’s a coaching problem. When Mccloud is in the conversation... it’s a coaching problem.

However, maybe the school does not have the money to compete at this level.

So now the argument has shifted from the school can win consistently with #Baymade to the program is now devoid of talent?

Tag got lucky with flowers and a few others.... after the first string there it was all downhill. CCS was stubborn and should have been fired. However, getting blown out by ECU is an eye opener on the new coach.

We were bad last year, and we are bad this year. It sucks to watch, but at least we have one win and won’t go 0-12. Give Scott some time and we can see what actual product he can offer. The man is coaching a team with a shortened spring practice time.

welcome back Cory. Who knew the portal was a circle?
