Add WVU to that conference and Cincinnati and the ACC looks pretty good.

B12 can have SDSU, ECU, Navy, Army, AF.

Also, I am assuming Kansas gets pulled into B1G in this scenario.

"Numerous schools from the Group of Five conferences are expected to lobby for considerations in their quest to achieve Power Five status. The league is projected to primarily assess teams from the Mountain West Conference and the American Athletic Conference."

No way Power status is retained in this scenario.

He never flashed an elite gear like Mack, Battie, or Johnson. He looks a north south runner suited for power runs. I like him, but he isn't an elite back based on what he showed last year here.  Maybe he takes his game to another level this year. I like him, but he hasn't been a game changer.  Wright reminds me of Cronkite without the extra gear to break it up the middle and take it to the house. He had a solid year no doubt, but it was a big drop off from Battie in terms of production. Keith will probably be an upgrade over Joiner, if he can stay healthy. He seems less injury prone based on production.

Dude crushed that Alabama player though!

Yup.  So basically ACC is only losing two schools.  Probably have a settlement agreement by the end of the summer. Now we will see if & when the ACC invites more schools to stabilize

If only G5 teams are targets:

UConn, USF, Memphis, and Tulane are waiting.

If more westward expansion is needed OSU, WSU, SDSU, maybe CState?

    If P4 teams are targeted:

    Ok state, TTech, CU

FSU and Clemson leaving the ACC could be the biggest parting blow to southern college football since Sewanee left the SEC.

Ga Tech must be kicking themselves for this one.

  6. Just going back to the end of the Charlie Strong era.

what if, instead of hiring Jeff Scott, Kerwin Bell was promoted and Shaun King was made OC?

Listening to The Bay Area Examiner, and apparently KB had recruited Battie and our newest RB that has just transferred to us.

I think maybe the recruiting class doesn’t fall completely apart in this scenario.

This will be the first time since 2020 that we start off against an FCS team. We finally have an easy game to get in rhythm b4 we play the hard teams.

Problem is, in the recent past, we either play up or down to our opponents talent.
