If BYU joins AAC then you might as well include AAC in playoff. So I guess Aresco was right in the P6 becoming reality

    Why's that?

Of course they are open to be.  They've always wanted to be in the "P5"

The only reason they are independent is because Utah went to the Pac10, but no "P5" wanted BYU.   They aren't independent just because they wanted to be independent.  BYU was too arrogant to have Utah move up and leave them behind.

So much for the theory of "ucf/rival's success = our success"

Because there is no such thing as an intentional foul. The terminology was scrapped a few years back for just that reason. Intent, or lack thereof, is irrelevant to the act of fouling, and always was.

There are now two categories of Flagrant Fouls instead.

Call it what you want.   Tackling a guy away from the ball during an inbounds play should = 2 shots and the ball.

Sure there is a case to be made that we could have been one of the 20-25 teams, just out of curiosity what do teams 5-130 get from the comittee?

    Copy of the home game?

I thought based on having the National Champions we moved up to #1! #aac4life

I never really wanted a tattoo, but if I did that might be it.

There's the confusion, Only three teams in the conference feel that bias. The rest are very fairly judged, which is why the other three feel the bias. So its not really a bias as much as it is a reflection of the conference as a whole.

I'm not sure that any of the teams feel a serious "bias".  Why do ucf, USF, or memphis deserve much more than they have received

I went to UF and when FSU sucked the games werent as fun. There is a difference b/w rooting 4 a team and wanting them to win simply so you can enjoy your victory over them even better. And based on that logic i guess you would prefer we play nothing but cupcakes. When i watch a heavy weight fight, i want to see two undefeated or 2 fighters with good records fight.

This has nothing to do with cheering for UCF and hoping they get credit for their fake national championship.

And by the way, growing up a FSU fan, I completely enjoyed every whooping we put on the gaytors. And as a Bulls fan, I was ecstatic about each and everyone of those first 4 whippings we put on ucf.

Unfortunately being in a G6 conference we have to fight 4 our rankings and position in rhe cfp talk, so ALL of our opponents success benefits our strength of schedule and conference/team perception when we actually defeat good teams. Last time I remember we all agreed that the weak schedule we had this past year did not benefit us.....well in order 4 our SOS to be better we kind of need our opponents to be having some type of success. Just logic.

UCF's 13-0 season got the Bulls all the way to the 99th ranked schedule this year.  UCF's 13-0 record and 73rd ranked schedule got them to the Peach Bowl and a fake national championship.   So much for that theory.

Proceed with your thumbs down now ....

utah went undefeated in 2008.  Won the MWC title and won their bowl game.  They were the only undefeated team, but since they were from a “non bcs” conference (equivalent to today’s G5), they were not recognized as national champions.   They made lots of noise in the press, and even their senator joined in.  Within a couple of years they were in the PAC 12.   So from that standpoint, I totally get why Orlando is doing what it is doing.

I'm not sure that they got into the Pac 12 because they claimed a false national title.  Side note, notice also that they haven't gone undefeated since even in a conference annually considered "weak" for the G5
