I like your confidence but you know who else won a state title in high school? Mike White. We all know how that turned out. Yea, but he predicted it and to be honest, he is just waaay better then Mike White. i think mike white has a stronger arm, but not as quick a throw or delivery as Kean. He moved to Ohio because he had to change schools it had nothing to do with football, also Sean White transfered into University School so he would not have gotten the start until his senior year Kean moved to ohio his senior year and got that school a championship. Sean White wouldnt of started over him if he stayed his senior year. You mean Sean White the #4 QB in the nation that year, who was recruited by every college in the nation, right? I can't tell if you are serious or not. Kean is a good player but that statement is a little out there. Kean is going to redshirt and looking at the talent coming in I'm like, ok. I never count any guy out but to think he is a savior is not smart. He's never thrown a college pass and for someone so good, why did so many programs take a pass? Easy, he is better then Flowers and Bench. Plus we are loaded at receiver, tight end and running back. All we need is a quarterback that cam throw a half desent ball and Kean throws a much quicker and accurate ball then Flowers or Bench in additional to being able to run in which he runs a 4.7 40.

You forgot the late season crash to be truly authentic I like this prediction and will role with it except, CWT keeps his job b/c Brett Kean Savior leads us into our first conference title and National Championship

Deadrin Senat is a beast anf i expect a good year. Last year he stayed double or triple teamed. I think this year he will break out.

I wish him the best, and glad he finally decided to transfer elsewhere. He has great talent and just need to find the right opportunity

-Lol I feel you. We wasted red shirts, but now finally get to see these highly heralded recruits play. Plus all of our transfers and maybe a few of these new recruits. Im going to let go of these past two years...too much pain my friend, let it go like that song from Teddy Pendergrass lol

-Advisory, but Im cool with having somebody designated specifically on game planning, the playbook and simply being an advisor. He is well respected and has had much success.

t -I totally forgot to mention him. Its funny how we snagged one of the top defensive coordinator talent from the SEC and it has garnered no excitement from anybody. I thibk our defense has great talent to go with a great coach.

Which freshman or redshirted player that didn’t play last year are you looking forward to watching or feel will have an impact on the team this year? Defense- Kevin Bronson and err’body else that will finally get a chance to play this year.. I love our defense this year and feel we finally have the depth to be carried by our defense if our offense can’t score. Offense- Brett Kean (will win starting job and be our savior lol), Ryshene Bronson will make whatever quarterback we have look great, Stanley Clerveaux will be our best possession receiver, Tyre McCants (is he still injured?), Billy Atterbury- Dude looks mean and was pretty aggressive in high school, I think he will actually play this year), Glen Bethel and Reilly gibbons (man our O-line can’t really be that bad) Coaches- Kinan, I feel he will bring his expertise to the spread to this team and provide the offensive guidance Taggart and his offensive coordinators need help in the most. Overall- the deep has the depth that has been missing the past few years. USF have tons of unproven talent and hungry individuals. We got rid of a lot of bad attitudes and athletes that felt entitled to start or play. This post is not intended to start any arguments, it’s just for those who are excited to see some of the many 3 star and a few 4 star recruits finally play. USF has sucked in the past 2 years, but I always start my seasons off believing we can win all of our games until proven otherwise. We have a lot of heralded recruits and transfers coming over this year and a new offensive plan that caters to our athletes and depth.

So he wouldn't of had to compete with White. Noticed he still committed to the same school as White after? He knew that he could take the job away from Mike White, which is why White left. There is absolutely no reason to think a true freshman QB can win right away at the division 1 level. You can find a few exceptions, but not many at all. We viewed first hand what happens when you are dealing with true freshmen here and at other schools. And if you decide to name some, I'm willing to bet they were all higher ranked recruits than Kean. I watched his tape, he is good but he's not that good. I mean he has potential but I've seen A LOT of room for improvement and as the skill level goes up and the size of those windows close... he's not going to be throwing to wide open guys on the regular like in his film. I get your enthusiasm but I find myself right back in the place I was the past two years... If it's to the point where a true freshman is playing, your team sucks. I said it about us when we played White. I actually knew we'd have to play him because all we had was Matt Floyd (who I knew sucked) and Bobby Eveld (who was a great guy and leader but not much of a QB AT ALL). Kean will redshirt because the guys in front of him are far more ready at this point than he is. Also you keep ragging on Flowers. Not only was the kid a higher rated recruit than Kean, actually our highest rated QB signee ever, he can do a lot more than Kean can. He's a better football player and for this offense, a power spread much like Auburns, Flowers is the better fit. I equate Kean with Bench when he first got here. I don't know if you want to lose, but playing Kean as a true freshman would ensure we lose. Everyone and their mother knows Flowers is likely going to be the starter. I watched him in the spring and he improved tremendously. With the work those guys have been putting in since spring ball and over the summer, that guy will be ready. I think he's going to have some growing pains but I also think he, Mack, Johnson, and Tice are going to put on a show if that Oline is as good as I think they can be. I saw Flowers high school film and was never impressed. He has no arm and never will. Kean highlights looks waaay better. I value a quick release and his release is quicker than both quarterbacks. If you are talking about speed...Flowers runs a 4.5 40 and Brett Kean runs a 4.7, so he has a 2 second advantage, but no arm. And yes I will name a Freshman Quarterback who did it and that was Christian Hackenberg. As for Flowers and Bench, they both had opportunities. Hell I like that juco quarterback we have coming in better then Flowers, so he's my 2nd choice. In the end, we will just let things play out in August.

Keane wasn't at University School when White was a senior as Keane had already moved to Cleveland. Brett Kean is going to redshirt. I guess the theory is that we do a QB carousel and then burn our redshirts. Really? Flowers and Bench sucks, so unless you feel the JUCO quarterback will win the job, Brett kean wins the starting job hands down. Go look at the video of him and you can easily see he is better then both.

Why I think we will win 7-9 games. 1. New offensive and defensive coordinators, including a man who has mastered the spread and has had the top high school program for the past few decades in Kinan. 2. Brett Kea, Brett Kean and Brett Kean. Last year, he committed to us early so that he can focus on winning a state title. And you know what, he won the state title. That shows confidence, determination and the swag needed to play the position. I did research and even when he was backing up Mike White in Ft. Lauderdale, he was a threat to taking his job which is why Mike White probably left, b/c he knows how good Brett Kean is. Last, he runs a 4.7 and has a very quick release. Waaay better arm then both quarterbacks we have now. 3. Defense- Our defense is deep enough that we can sub in fresh quality players throughout the game. Last year the defense got gassed b/c they were not deep. 4. Receivers- We got a crap load of great receivers now. No more Deonte Welch dropping passes. Brett Kean had like a few 3-4 star receivers on his team, so he knows how to get his stars the ball. 5. This year freshman players. Out of the 20 we have I feel 5-10 should be able to contribute immediately. Remember my name GATORBULL325!!! lol. The guy who watched USF football more than his own team. No reason for all this doubt, have faith in the Football Gods my friends..

If he comes here, then his feelings will get hurt, b/c Brett Kean will have already solidified himself as USF’s savior.
