  1. Looks like a real good start.  does he play infield or out? Seems the smaller gloves are used for infield like 10 to 11 inches and 12 for out.  Beware about the bats you can spend a crap load of money and seems every league has their own rules. i would ask the league ( Pony, Little Leauge, Travel teams like USSA Tourny's all seem to have their bat specifications. Check before you have wasted your money. if it gets used you wont be able to return it.

Down 22-17 with 6 minutes left, Rodney Adams had a nice return out to the 40 and fumbled.  We had a chance to win it if not for that.  He needs to protect the ball better.

I predict two special teams TD's one on kick off and one on a punt return. If we can get them to punt a couple of times we win a shootout.

This lack of passion and energy goes back to the Syracuse game.  I just don't get it.  I think new blood is needed especially at LB.  Senat and Hector on the DL have been okay for the most part.  DE has been non-existent.  Would like to see more of Cherry Sawtelle and Thomas in a 4-3 look.   AS and NH have been a disappointment.

    Bingo

A rude awakening for Kean as well. I must admit, I thought magic was about to happen when I saw him in there. That couldn't have gone worse. Extremely tough spot to enter a game cold off the bench though.

Threw off his back foot with mis -communication = interception .

He irked me immediately with "we're not cheerleaders for USF".  No one asked him to be.  The suggestion is that the local team should still best equal or better press than other teams, regardless.  It's the right thing to do.  If Noles or Gators fans want to read about their teams, they should be able to do it...on page 5 or 6.  Anyone with a brain knows that your team shouldn't expect first priority coverage in the big town of another big college.

I also believe that while TBT isn't responsible for generating interest in USF football, they are SELLING A PRODUCT.  There are a lot of good stories to write these days (as note earlier, our record, offensive record setting year, explosive players and great stories (like Rodney Adams).  You want to sell papers?  Write interesting articles about locals.  I promise putting UF or FSU on page 5 or 6 won't hurt sales.  But, not by being cheerleaders, but by writing stories on this exciting team MIGHT help attendance...generate excitement about USF football...and have more folks buying the paper to READ about our team.  It's business 101, and failure to recognize it is one of the main reason print newspapers are heading the way of Blockbuster (if you're under 25, ask your dad).

Jones doesn't get it. He'd rather amuse himself with snark & sarcasm.   If I could afford the massive pay cut (in my best Trump voice), I'd move to Tampa and take his job.

    Thanks for writing & sharing.

    Drop the mic. Boom.

Love the optimism John!  Guess I'm still haunted by 07 Rutgers flashbacks.

I too was at UR that night.  Jenkins did not bat the ball forward.  That play changed the game.

Thanks Brian I have utter confidence that our offense will score more than their's. Yes and that " forward" call was Schiano lobbying.

RU player hit the elbow and pushed it forward. Got screwed.

86, no real insight, just a hunch.

Temple's strength on O is running, which is our weakness.  We also have not been impressive in our last two games.  Both were much closer than the scores.  Add in a short week and travel and we could be in for a disappointing Friday night.

On paper we should beat Temple by 14 points.  I just don't get that feeling.

    Go Bulls!

Sorry Kid but we win - big. no stopping these USF BULLS, not this year.

It was an amazing run, good for #5 on SC Top 10

Thank God . I thought it would go unnoticed . Watched a whole hour long College Football Sunday with not even a mention of it. But freaking. Purdue was on it for a tightend  touchdown? No respect. When get into the top 25 they will have no choice but to speak of USF. Us against espn. Game one.

  9. Last week was not a typical weekend game. For three days prior,  all anyone in FL heard was a Cat 4 Hurricane was heading to Fl. I'm sure some students went home to be with family, not really worrying about our football game ( I was there with my three friends). It was just a crazy weekend. BTW FL postponed their game. We shouldn't look back at this without appreciating a major hurricane was about to devastate, homes, lives, etc.  It will be better this weekend. I will be there with my peeps. GO BULLS. I hate my local reporters here period.
