  1. These problems should have addressed 3 yrs ago not next year. No excuse after 7 recruiting classes not to have players who shoot the ball it's a reflection and a weakness of his recruiting philosophy.
  2. This Stan's 6th or 7th recruiting class at USF. This roster should be well balanced by now with great veteran leadership as well as good young talent. They should have developed an identy and shown steady progress. However all we gotten is inconsistency and short flashes of success. "Really"in his 7th season he doesn't have anyone who can shoot the three, has he not figured the college game by now. IMO his teams are always very athletic but have average basketball skills and he does a poor job of coaching them up. For sure not having Collins hurt them this year but there is no way they should be this bad. There is no question in my mind he should be let go however he will survive at least one more year and if it's a good one he will remain. I'm just not sure I have the confidence that he can build a consistant winng program.
  3. I believe Wulff strength comments were based off his review of last years team. All indications are that they have made significant progress in that area. My biggest concern was that may sacrifice quickness. I asked Joey knight if he noticed that from practice here's his reply @TBTimes_Bulls: @SY800000 Not at all, from what I saw Day One. When you know where to run and what to do, you naturally do things faster.
  4. The players took on the Skips mentality. Play not to lose and I think the Cincinnati game was a prime example. The fact is the talent level was there to win when CJL left but after 3 years of Skip the talent fell and performance suffered. I have confidence that CWT will take advantage of the better recruiting with better on field play. BTW I don't remember reading about any players being upset after Skip was fired.
  5. Skips first year success was a result of the CJL recruiting class including the Clemson win. The wide spread expectation was that the team should only improve as those players matured. We all know what transpired the next two years. CWT is rebuilding the talent level and my belief is he will do a much better job of coaching. Also IMO he has has put together a first rate coaching staff. I was impressed that he disregarded loyalty when he fired the OC. That tells me he is serious about winning.
  6. The recruiting class that was ranked 29th was poised to have a breakout year after beating FSU and then Clemson in the bowl game. Unfortunately CJL was fired and Skip Holtz and his staff destroyed them and left the team with an incredible lack of talent at skill positions. CWT started building up the talent last year as evidenced by how many true freshman played. This class significantly build on last year. That along with a better strength and conditioning should show some improvement this year and then significant improvement two years from now. Also CWT has tweaked his offensive staff which also will help immensely .
