Exactly! Their facilities are crap. Makes me wonder if big 12 did any real research or just selected the flavor of the month school in UCiF & cincy. Cincy is going to drop like a rock imo

In the last 10 years, they've been to 2 Fiesta and 1 Peach bowl while we've been relegated to Birmingham and Gasparilla bowls.  That's more than flavor of the month.  They've been the more successful program, as much as we hate to admit it.

usf-stadium.thumb.png.02bbab5333814c31b62742a179b7dc75.pngi agree with whoever was talking about all the weird shapes. I guess that's what makes it a "modern" design. Would prefer a more closed look (keep the sound in) with some actual shade. The modular steel look doesn't look very $340M. Very stoked on the location though!

There are several buildings / upgrades in that total $340 million besides the stadium.  This is still preliminary.  Who knows, maybe some rich donor who wants shade and a concrete base will chip in more money.

While I am happy with the initial renderings that's where probably some of my disappointment lies. I thought 340 million could get us something nicer than to what was presented. But that's on me. This is probably something closer to what North Texas, FAU, and Tulane got vs San Diego State and Colorado State.

Still happy though since we finally getting a decent looking stadium, and can't wait until it opens.

I could be wrong, but I think someone mentioned that the $340 million included other buildings so the stadium is actually less than that.

Goodluck to any in our secondary trying to transfer from the 130th ranked passing defense.

Hopefully CAG can snag some secondary talent from portal but more importantly HS.

You can't replace them if they don't leave.....I hope they are happy at their new schools.....

I was watching the game. Like you said it’s tough to win when you shoot 6% from 3 and your opponent shoots over 50%, it was like they couldn’t miss. Even with that they were down by 16 at one point and fought all the way back to get it to 5. A couple mistakes need to get cleaned up though, that backcourt violation when they were trying to come back was terrible.
I still thought we had a chance though when their player committed the flagrant foul and we could have cut it to a one possession game, but we missed both free throws and missed the shot on the following possession and that was pretty much it.

At times, it seemed like they had the stop on defense and Central Michigan just threw up a prayer and it always went in.  On the other side, we couldn't hit an open 3 to save our life.  It's still a new team with a learning curve, but I think they had a lot of bad luck with nothing going in.
