  1. Why can't you just post it. My god man. Can't you figure out that I detest this clown.
  2. Post the link. I'm not interested in giving Frank any more clicks then I have too.
  3. I never liked Frank. His articles are biased and opinionated. Just like all bloggers, with it's own agenda. He purports himself to be clear, concise and balanced. He's not. If the tweet doesn't appear in McMurphy's twitter account, I'm not buying it.
  4. I can Imagine Temple = Philadelphia, UConn = NY City, USF = Tampa and UCF = Orlando. that's 45 million in state populations. Doesn't make it so.
  5. While Dennis Dodd was a huge insider of the Big East break up, he's been fairly inaccurate since. I do recall WVU politicking for ECU as their travel partner during the first Big 12 expansion episode that went no where. With that said, I'm guessing no one has a clue as to who's in and who's out at this time except the schools involved.
  6. Well we would have one of two choices. The same as anyone else. 1, Big 12: We offer Football only. USF: Yes Sir, I'll take what ever you're offering. or 2, USF: It's all or nothing. Big 12: Ok, Buh Bye! Mind you, this is entirely speculation anyway.
  7. Interesting article written by "Undercoverbull" on another board. http://www.thedailystampede.com/2016/7/27/12304628/conference-realignment-a-theory-of-why "Why has USF been so quiet with its courting of the Big12 during their inevitable expansion? Is it because we are higher class than most? Because we have respect for ourselves and our current conference so we refuse to publicly humiliate ourselves for a much needed promotion? Perhaps. As a Bulls fan, it's a pretty noble way to look at our school and, should we not be selected, we keep our reputation intact. But, what if that's not it at all... What if the reason we are staying behind the scenes is strictly to keep from embarrassing the AAC? And what if the reason we don't want to embarrass the AAC is because we will still be in that conference after expansion? And what if we are also in the Big12? ...." It could absolutely answer the question of our Admins approach to courting the Big 12.
  8. Retired from the Army in 1997 and still adapting to civilian life. Best of luck to your friend as he adjusts to social and financial differences. Best of luck to you. Remember, you don't have to win every battle. Just win the war.
  9. Lets all just relax. Anyone can see that the best future financial expansion picks would be USF, UCF, UC and Houston. The Big 12 would be better served expanding to 16 as Texas will bolt at it's first opportunity. The Big 12 won't do that because the media partners will only pay pro-rata for 4 additional members. So that's what they will do. Will they chose the obvious ones? Who knows.
  10. Some good press from Hookem-Horns. States that UConn and USF are the most valuable available programs and that USF while at #2, UCF is at #4. Houston is at #10 and ECU at #11. The Data comes from two previous Wall Street Journal stories. http://www.hookem.com/2016/07/25/big-12-expansion-uconn-usf-lead-houston-bottom-athletics-worth-per-report/
  11. I'm positive that the Sun will rise tomorrow morning and that some one will write another realignment article. Does that make me an insider?
  12. Oh it uncovers something. The powers that be just ignore it. Just like the NCAA and UNC's violations.
  13. This is a BS poll as you can vote as many times as you clear your Browser's history.
  14. Could have! More ******* click bait. I hope they get sued for liable or defamation, slander and lose their jobs after having to write a retraction.
  15. Steve Deuming was just on Tampa 95.3 FM and said someone in USF told him that this is just the tip of the Iceberg and that's why there isn't any call by the Admin to join the Big 12. He said be prepared for something really bad to come out at USF. This guy is a major Clown. I wish the Admin would say something just to stop these wild accusation. The rampant speculation is creating more negative publicity then will come from any findings.
  16. I like the mention of walking up hill for a mile for practice. Not to mention the portalets for toilets. Takes me back. Ah, memories.
  17. I've already posted that he's a Douche in another thread. As for letting him know anything, I wouldn't give him the clicks. Ignore him and watch him be replaced do to lack of interest. Then speed by and soak him with rain water from the gutter as he stands in the unemployment line.
  18. I recall that quote as well. That's why I added that in m scenario.
  19. So you're suggesting they'd rather expand. Hence the need for a meeting. I gotcha. Yes that is a possibility as well. Not the sexy one but, true.
  20. 10 teams do not destroy the Championship. With the change that happened in the Championship criteria, a Conference with 10 teams can play a round robin schedule and still hold a Conference Championship game. It could also split into two equal divisions and then hold a Conference Championship game. That's what the Big 12 was expected to do.
  21. The American Athletic Conference Admins are scheduled to meet tonight. I would think that if the American were to lose 2 teams, they'd have no real reason to meet as they could remain at 10 teams and be fine. However, if they lose 1, 3 or even 4 teams. They'd need to meet to select members to backfill and get ahead of the media blitz by being proactive. It would also help if the teams leaving were leaving next year as opposed to the following year. What do you guy's/gal's think?
