So $100k per contract year. I'm guessing as a lump sum but not really a huge hurdle if another team wants him.

not going to happen with that buyout.  this is the 3rd or 4th game I have seen and his players seem undisciplined.  They do play a fast tempo that isn't the only thing to look for in a new head coach.  Musselman or Amaker or still my top choices

That's nothing and the fact that he's reportedly being considered by USF and other programs proves that it's nothing.

Okay, I watched most of the game.

 

I do like his style and he is better than Stan could have ever done at Florida State and against Hamilton. He took a bunch of C-USA kids and went up against ACC kids. He's a good coach and it would be an upgrade from Stan on the floor.

 

Here's my thing. He's so young. I just don't know if he can shoulder a program with so much of our history (of losing!). He's got to offset all of that history and rebuild the program into a winning program. That's going to take a big personality. I don't if he has "it".

 

1.5 million for Stan and then 500K for his buyout. That's a cool 2 mil just to get him in the door.

 

I think we need to go bigger -as in a bigger name.
