I don't see Trickett winning the job at WVU, but he has to do whatever he thinks.  Or is told.

 

I hope he comes here, at the very least he would finally give us some depth at QB.  At best he'd be the starter.

I think we agree but let's face it. It really makes FSU look bad if he comes here. We are so poorly regarded in the press that having their heir apparent come here kind of lowers them to our level. WVU isn't a problem to them, better conference, better BE team not in FSU's wheelhouse. Especially watch out for FSU homers on pay sites who are leaking a WVU preference. Kid's an early grad from a FB family, he's gonna go where it's the best sitch for him.Sheridan and he are talking. The people at FSU, don't know JS about where he's headed. I'm not saying he comes here, but this whole 75/25, 80/20 or 90/10 crap is just stupid. This kid is gonna make his decision when he makes his decision. and he and his Dad are gonna be the one's who know what that is. Everyone else is just making hillbilly myths. My guess is that it's somewhere other than USF or WVU who comes in hard late and has the very best deal for him.

I don't think where a non-starting QB transfers is any reflection on the school. Besides, it would just be a validation to FSU fans who criticize him that he wasn't an "FSU-level talent" to begin with. His decision on where to go is a reflection of his decision on where is best for him and which situation helps him reach his goals best. USF has put plenty of players into the NFL; the question he likely has is where can he position himself best for after college. We've got a great receiving corps, though Taggart's run-heavy offense is not going to help him put up the numbers that Holgorsen's might. On the other hand, he's guaranteed to start for two years here, and may not have that guarantee at WVU.

Well, word on da street is what we already know...it's between USF and WVU. Family all went to WVU, but the fact that Willie T recruited him so heavily at Stanford and believes in him so much is a factor.
