Saban did the same thing to the Dolphins. Are we all going to pretend we're too good for a guy like him? Or is Petrino not quite as good as Saban, so he's a **** and USF deserves better?

No, he didn't .... As much as I hate Saban, the only thing he did wrong was say he wasn't going anywhere when he wasn't sure yet ... and he admitted to that.

I've got a pretty high threshold for winning at any cost but a coach that walks out on his team, I don't think he even addressed them .... no thanks. He'd do the same to us and we wouldn't have the luxury of a draft to help us out.

walks out? i thought there were a few issues surrounding that. Do we know all the circumstances surrounding that.

I'm talking about with the Falcons and I think the only circumstances there was that he bailed with 3 games left ...

ok but I wouldn't assume he didn't have personal reasons for his decision unless he spoke to that

His personal reason was that he lost Vick and hightailed it ...

No, they both did. Saban after coaching for two seasons and it was after his second season. Petrino with three games left in the season, he had only coached 13 games total. They both are pricks, but there is a difference

So its ok if you lie to your team, fans, players, and organization as long as you eek out two full seasons.

Any sane person would have done the same to take the Arkansas job. He was going to get canned at the end of the season anyhow. Get off your high horse.
