I believe AW has a very good shot at playing at the next level, based on his ceiling and intangibles. If he comes to USF and plays good football he will shine and get noticed. All it takes is a good season and everyone will start to claim him as the best QB in the conference, which will create a lot of hype. If he can do that and continue to play at a high level, the sky is the limit. Coming to USF will allow him to start making a name for himself sooner rather then later, IMO. At an SEC type program, he will probably have 1-2 years to showcase his talent depending on the school and at USF he will have 3-4 (95% sure it will be 4) years to do the same. It will allow him to work out some kinks, if need be.

Alabama on the hunt

Would hate to see AW get stuck behind Cooper Bateman. Would be a shame.

Who says he'd get stuck behind him??

You aren't helping.

Cooper Bateman is over hyped he too was at the elite 11 did ya ever hear his name?

Didn't really look at it that way, was just wondering if AW would actually get a fair shot under Saban with Bateman already on the roster. You know i believe in AW, have for quite a while now..

Other than winning a lot of games (like Bama has done), I wonder a lot why these players want to spend 4 years of their life there? Living in Alabama is a world of it's own, not diverse and certainly not a place where you want to live when your career is done there.

Conversely, Tampa is a city where people choose to live over anywhere else. Just look at all the former Bucs players (with millions) end up living.

As far as AW, there are not many places that have such an open door to play QB right away. Combine that with the weapons he is going to have. The key for AW is to have a quality running game to keep teams off balance. That's why Jo Jo Kemp is key. Along with a possible suprise like Folson or Collins.

Offensively, USF will be fine. It's really a matter of building up the hardcore defense that USF used to have just a few years back.

I agree. Our offense, while it can be frustrating at time, hasnt been our downfall this year. Giving up 30+ points to MAC teams isnt going to get it done. I predict that our defense will be much better next year. That and Special teams are key to helping AW out.
