"IF" we were to beat them this season, would that increase our chances of getting more home and home games with them?  So they could try to even up and pass us in a series?

Answer:  No

Also, i don't think they will ever come to Tampa.  Remember they are the University of Florida (la de da)

No way, not unless the team comes way, way, WAY down from its current perch. UF does not like out of conference road games, it has been years and years since they played one against anyone other than FSU and Miami - even Miami they don't do often.

The other thing that could change things is if the SEC gets worse, which also isn't very likely. I do think the SEC has come down a little bit from a few years ago, but not enough to force the Gators to beef up their non-conference lineup.

UF will whine that the 65,000 seats at RJS won't be enough to hold our fans and theirs.

And the Gators have not left the state of FL to play an out of conference game since 1991, when they got beat by.....SYRACUSE!

They rely on FSU being slightly relevant every year, and the SEC in order to keep their "great schedule". The other 3 tuneups don't matter as long as they beat them by 50 points (as they should), and that the SEC teams are half decent.

I think the fact that UF is no longer scheduling Miami increases our chances, more than even USF beating them this year.

They have to schedule some home and home BCS schools, other than FSU, for their non-conference schedule and if they don't want to leave the state or play UM their choices are limited.  ;D

I wouldn't want it just yet. The last thing we need is Orange and Blue flooding the stadium.

I don't think that it affects our chances at all. They aren't coming here to play us unless we somehow ended up in the same conference by some freak chance.

They don't have to schedule any home and home with BCS programs outside of FSU. Remember, they scheduled us when we hadn't even thought of being in a BCS conference.

The fact that they have started throwing 1 AA's in their schedule right before they play FSU is a freaking joke.

Since when?  They are the kings of bringing in schools for a one game beatdown and paycheck.

I agree... a lot of our fan base needs to give up the Gayturd habit... if the Gayturds come to town it will be like a home game for them.

When Miami came into town it was embarrassing how much of our fan base mutated into Canes fans.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
