Student Section

First of all, it was great to see another great turnout of students and their enthusiasm throughout the game.  It seems like the football game is starting to become the 'thing to do'.

Looking at student section last night, I couldn't help but think that it would be great if there was some sort of concerted effort to wear the same color, especially on national TV.  Last night, from where I sat, you really couldn't have looked at that end of the field and determined what our colors were if you didn't already know.

I realize that this is an issue with the rest of the stands, as well, but maybe something started by the students will spread.

Body paint excluded, is it possible for the SBC to call for a 'Green Out' for the UConn game?

i know for the game last night, sbc sent out a e-mail to all of our members to wear green.  i'm sure something could be done.  maybe a letter to the editor in the oracle, to get the word out to wear green.

I'll do my part and wear my green!  ;D

Best best is to probably get something written in the Oracle ASAP and just spread the word in person. What we do need is a sponser to handout shirts as the walk in. But, that takes a sponser to fork over some $$$.

In my opinion wearing green, gold, or whatever color by us doesn't matter to me. As long as the student section is full, that's all you could ask for...When I looked from the student section I could've swore there were thousands of Rutgers fans everywhere. Nothing but a sea of red shirts...OH WAIT! THEY WERE EMPTY SEATS. A pathetic showing by the alumni and the community.

To make an example, there were no Rutgers fans in their section wearing anything but RED.  If we were to get everybody, not just the student section to wear green, that would be great.

I did notice how well their BRIGHT RED stood out. I'm not sure if green will stand out as much.

I agree a "green out" would be great.  Va Tech looked awesome with everyone wearing that god awful orange color and they do that every game.

SBC has two shirts a green and a gold.  We are actually wearing our gold next week but I think we should try and get something together for homecoming.
