ESPN: 68 Ventures Bowl v. Louisiana OR Cure Bowl v. Appalachian State 

CBS: Boca Raton Bowl v. Mississippi State

247: Gasparilla Bowl v. Auburn

CFN: Gasparilla Bowl v. Florida

4 out of 5 of these are pretty solid. Would love a shot at Florida or Auburn at Ray Jay!

I want us to play and beat Florida, but after their bowl loss to UCF, they will be fired up to beat us. I want Mississippi State.

I think we have a very good chance at getting a higher profile match because we are more of a name and story than most of the other G5s. We are also helped by our proximity to more desirable bowl games. ESPN is going for ratings and ticket sales, so if we can get to 7+ wins we should be looking at a pretty solid bowl matchup. I don't believe for a second that we would be sent to the 68 Ventures Bowl against Louisiana.

From the choices given, I want UF or Auburn. My personal wish is getting the bowl game match up with CU. For three reasons,

1. We get a shot at Deion.

2. All of those eyeballs!

3. Talk **** to my friend who is a CU fan.

I'm happy to make a bowl game.  I just hope they don't figure out a way to match us up with the clowns in orlando in a bowl game if we are both bowl eligible.  That would suck for us, but I think the sick minds at the TV networks would find it "cute".

When it comes down to it and especially as beggars can't be choosers, I'm content with any bowl this season HOWEVER no thank you to anything involving the rust bucket erector set in ovideo.

Give me a middling SEC team matchup. Last time we did that we beat them at home (Birmingham) against USC.

Playing CU or UCF seems slim but possible, if this list of possible bowls is what's true.  I don't care who/where a bowl is when we make one.  First Responder Bowl is the only Big 12 possibility, and being in Texas I assume they'd spot more regional teams to that location.  Pac12 could be First Reponder or Gasparilla, and likewise with the First Responder Bowl, it would probably be a better chance for a regional team.

The top-ranked American Athletic Conference champion will be in the mix for the Fiesta, Cotton, or Chick-fil-A Peach if it's the highest-ranked Group of Five champ - and if it's not in the College Football Playoff.

The American Athletic Conference bowl tie-ins and affiliations will mostly be based on geographic location while avoiding repeat appearances.

The ESPN owned and operated bowls will move teams around to create the best possible matchups, but there are a few set ties and affiliations.

The conference is supposed to get a spot in the Military Bowl in 2023, and 2025, and it's in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl in 2024. 

Also thrown into the mix is the EasyPost Hawaii Bowl, which is supposed to alternate with the Armed Forces Bowl, but last year the AAC didn't put a team in either one.

The American Athletic are affiliated with these bowl slots ...

Our secondary is still questionable. I am NOT trying to face a QB like Shedeur nor have Jimmy Horn and Weaver shred us up.
