WV seriously getting dissed

Have you guys read some of these predictions out there.

I've had some time to let saturday's loss marinate and I have come to two conclusions...

1) Now I know why they are the Mountaineers, just look at the fans.

2) This team can play some serious football.

Guys, they made plays at will, I would love to see this team play VT now. I seriously think this team will stomp on Georgia, god I wish I had some coin.

We tend to complain about how we don't get enough respect at times yet look what happens to a team that beats everyone. Do you really think we would have got respect if we had won out, no we would have been "BCS Cinderellas". I don't know about you guys but I think Cinderella was one dumb hoe. She couldn't run away from a bad situation (AKA ROD SMITH) she couldn't tell time (AKA CJL) and she lost her footing (AKA PJ). Anyone want to be a Cinderella.

The lack of attention is a result of our "weak" conference obviously.  We need these hicks to go hogwild, hold hands with their sisters, grab mamas deedees, crazy on the bulldogs. Will it legitimize the Big East's automatic BCS bid, may not. Will there finally be some respect, who knows.  Will the media at least have to acknowledge WVU...YES!

We may not beat WV next year or the year after. What we will be able to do is compete year in and year out with one of the best teams in the nation.  Show some respect to this team and watch them beat Georgia, a team which just happens to play in the best conference in college football.

well put c-lay, but I think Georgia's gonna stomp them. I think Free Shoes U silenced the Big Least talk for a while when our 10-1 conference champ is in the Sugar Bowl, and the supposed best conference in football, the ACC, has an 8-4 unranked before beating VT FSU in the Orange Bowl. WVU seems to be squared away and on track for staying a perennial powerhouse for years to come. We need to get there, along with Louisville and Pitt (yes, Dave "porn mustache" Wannstedt led Pitt) in order for our conference to get any kind of respect.

P.S. The media sucks.

btw, just wanted to let all of you guys know that I have a $10 bet going with C-lay that Nevada will beat UCF. This joker thinks that UCF will win because Nevada played nobody  : (cough cough Fresno St. cough)  : ...but then again UCF did have quality wins against Tulane and Rice

Do you watch college football? UGA has 2 losses, one without their senior QB and another to a very freaking good Auburn team.

I'm not in any way saying that WVU isn't good and couldn't hang with most of the top 25, but UGA would probably be the #3 team in the country if it weren't for Shockley getting injured. UGA starts 12 seniors many at key positions and have 3 RBs that could start for any team in the country. WVU consists of most Freshmen and Sophomores and when they have faced a team with an ounce of offensive ability they have given up a lot of points. UGA's defense is too good to try and out score them.

Did you not see what they did to LSU! they rolled them. Further this game is in ATLANTA, the Mountaineers travel well, but 70% of that crowd will be UGA fans.

I would LOVE to have WVU whup UGA.  Living up here it gets pretty old hearing about UGAy and from all my buddies, how the BE sucks.  For me WVU beating UGA would be  oh so sweet but I'm here to tell ya it ain't happening.   uga is good and beat a "freaking good" LSU team to win the sec.  This game, BTW, might as well be at their house being here.

I'm going for WVU, but I am also a realist, UGA is very very good football team and WVU is starting a RS Frosh at QB and a Frosh at RB, this isn't basketball..Freshmen only play so well.
