I personally  am not worried at all about whether the OCS is happening; its a 100 percent happening. There is no turning back on it now. There might be delays but that's not uncommon. Better to get the renderings and planning a  hundred percent right. My worries are more regarding what the final product will look like and whether it will still be at a 300 million plus price tag. But those worries are not based on anything substantial .

Remember the 340 million is not just for the stadium, so when you see the renderings you have to understand that.  Plus things are more expensive today than ten years ago, so comparing a $250 million stadium from 10 years ago may not be entirely fair.

Thank you!

I would like to see something similar to what San Diego State, Colorado State, and Houston ended up with. Ahead of what Tulane, FAU,... ended up getting.

I think that would be do able and within the price range.

Tulane OCS was pretty cool. Have not been to FAU’s yer but heard it is better than UCiF’s OCS

Is this loan more like a line of credit where you don't pay any interest until you start to use the funds or have we already started paying interest from the day of the closing?  I was in marketing, not finance.

More than likely the capitalized the interest payments during construction into the structure of the bond, basically deferring interest until a revenue stream comes online for it.

I think Colorado St.'s stadium is a pretty good benchmark for us. Based on the board slides, "hybrid of CSU/Houston" and "hybrid of CSU/SDSU" were presented, along with a lot of the design elements from CSU. Estimated cost of that was ~$220MM, for 36,500 seating and 41,000 total w/ standing capacity. You take that stadium, add in some additional premium features (field club, upgraded Wifi, funky lights for touchdown dances, etc.), then build a $75MM football/wlax operations building attached to it (south side, open to practice fields, club sections/entrance on top floor going into stadium).

Can someone please translate this from political/corporate speak to anything specific?

"A good snapshot in terms of the path that we're headed"

VPMK would do very well in upper management at a fortune 50.

We know where we're headed, a 340m operations facility and OCS. We know the location.

If anyone has any clue what to make of this I'd love to know.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
