It's almost midnight (expansion is closing down). The only one that needs a date is the Big 12, if it gets left out of the selection this year with the excuse of no championship game. If it gets in, we can all forget it for another year. The Big 12 has plenty of cash as it is. Expansion only makes sense for them if it gains them something.

 

All the teams that are not in the P5 are too ugly for the first dance selections, including USF.

 

The fire could be lit under the Big 12. If they are considering Cincy and Memphis, there's no way in hell USF and UCF aren't in the discussion.

 

Let's wait a few hours to see if the Big 12 gets in.

 

BIG 12 wont get in per sources. Even if they do, there is an uproar that BIG 12 didnt have to pay a CCG and get a team in. Maybe this will start a 8 team playoff with one spot going to the top G5 team.

Thats fishy to me. I really hope it hasnt gotten to the point where conferences are gonna have teams lay down in their champ game just so their fellow conference team would get into the playoff. Thats why the bcs was better: the conference champ, regardless of ranking, went to the bcs bowl.

Im sorry. I know ive been a conspiracy theorist lately but 59-0 is suspicious.

Also, technically baylor is the conference champ. Two teams tied are determined by head to head matchup. Advantage baylor.

So if tcu gets in, that means a team that didnt win their conference got in

Mizzou, I'm not so sure about - the circumstances of their SEC invite have always seemed a little shady. What, exactly, was promised to who by whom?
