Better question...if you opt out, yet contract Coronavirus at a house party, does USF still test and care for you?  You can still sue.  Crappy deal for the USF.  They can't say it, but I can.

This is going to be a very interesting and litigious season.  I'm sure we can't even think up all the possible situations that will surface regarding liability and negligence.  Will be interesting to watch them all unfold over the next few months.

That is the reason they won’t play, too many players would either sit out or play half the season and then sit to regain an extra year of eligibility.  The late season games on a losing team would probably be played with walk ons.  In addition, sitting out and contacting the virus the players  will allege they contracted the virus from current players which was negligent by the University and players will see dollar signs, like mentioned many times before they need the practices to evaluate talent and get the new system in place.  CJS knows this as well and that is the reason he is going to scrimmage the guys on Sat, if he thought they were going to play he would never have them scrimmage this early.
