Just saw McMurphy tweet that the MAC has decided to cancel football for the season. May look at playing in the Spring. Losing the OOC games made playing financially unviable, but they are citing player safety.

Losing the paydays and the cost of testing and supplies will shake out a lot of teams, unfortunately.

I don't think they're canceling out of fear of a virus most, if not all, will easily overcome but the money involved in lost pay day games and the costs to meet safety standards as prescribed by local govts.  Like UConn, they could call it "player safety" when really it's financial viability.
