So our safties.....nonexistent? because Jaymon Thomas at 6'3 195 could cover him. And Auggie was running with the Tulas RB down the sideline last night so idk if your boy is just gonna be able to just run past him.

Tulsa wins without their QB getting knocked out with that dirty hit. Auggie doesn't scare any top offense

I've heard he was a candidate but there was no movement beyond that.....This is coming from a family that has been big time Gator boosters going back a couple generations (They used to have dinners with Jeremy Foley).   They said Chip has been their number one all along and Frost would be the next name if Chip wasn't interested.  They said they feel good about Chip but it's not a done deal, btw.  If Chip says no they WILL come after Frost....

Frost and Chip are good friends. The 'Chip smokescreen' is not going to work. Chip was not their #1 choice, that materialized after they realized Frost is not happening.

    Bye bye Scotty

Frost was UF's #1 choice and he turned them down. That's when they started vetting Chip.

The biggest upset of the season may not happen on the football field.....

I don't see why they wouldn't want Chip Kelly. He's won more than Frost.

Older and not as relatable to recruits as Frost. And the worry that he might be tempted to try the NFL again. Chip has admitted that he hates recruiting but you could pull in a Top 20 class at UF so not as much as a concern as other places.

    Added info, in USF's favor.

Scoring D, USF #23, UCF #29. Scoring  D is the real metric IMO.

The  one thing I  don't is how often late in games the #1's play for USF. For UCF, they have given up many late game clean up time scores.

Scoring offense, in UCF's favor, but like you said, no real D oriented opponents for UCF.

ding ding. UCF has played 2s in the 2nd half much longer than USF this year bc of all the blowouts

Seen a lot of discussion around this game being sold out and USF overselling their allotment and having to call and tell some that they don't have tickets even though they got a confirmation. A little nervous, but I am assuming they have already reached out to everyone who will not be receiving tickets.

Has anyone received their tickets or does anyone know when we will actually receive tickets? Also fun side note, do you think we would have opened up the upper deck for this game if it were at home and would we have sold out 65k? JK seemed to think on twitter we would have only been able to sell 50k, which is only 5k more than what has sold already.

No not with the ticket prices the UCF AD has used, maybe if like 5k of the seats were $20

I don't want to get by UCF if it means being UConn in the Fiesta Bowl. Hate to admit it, but I believe Scott Frost seems to have his shiznit together better. I saw the Houston loss coming (though hate to admit it), and I see a loss to UCF coming. We had absolutely no business losing to Houston and it was squarely due to coaching. We had absolutely no business stumbling against very inferior teams early in the season and having to hope Flowers would put the team on his shoulders again. Hate to admit it; I have every confidence in our players, but not enough that they will be put in positions to win in the coaching chess game.

This is a great point. If we all step back and evaluate the 3 teams in the AAC that have a chance at a NY6 USF is the one that is most likely to have a bad performance.

Your team is the most 1 dimensional and the opponent would have 3 weeks to prepare for your rushing attack and Flowers. Memphis and UCF have aerial attacks & QBs that are more accurate which is needed if you run into a defense that can stop the run.

I see cracks and UCF and I start making sure my will is updated since I will be spending 4 hours in their life threatening stadium. Jokes aside, C dot has flaws...we clearly have flaws. Regardless of the outcome, I don’t think it is going to be all that fun. UCFs fans will make sure of that.

Their obsession with us is borderline psychotic. If we suck so bad and have never won anything, why do they obsess so much about the school in the ghetto that can’t even have their own stadium?

Have u looked at the first page of your board?

UCF is one of only 3 teams to never trail in the 2nd Half.

Winter is Coming. Charlie will have that bewildered lost look on the sideline just like at Louisville

The ONLY thing I would tell people to consider is if you want to get home fast after the game, it can be a little frustrating sitting on the bus waiting for everyone to show up so it can leave the stadium and take you back to your car.  If it's a continuous shuttle system, then it won't be as bad, but if it's a "you got this bus number there and you need to get on that bus number on the way back," you will have to wait.

Years ago, we did a tailgate/transportation for the UCF game and I remember sitting there thinking how far down I4 I'd already be...

But if you're not in a hurry, by all means do it.  I try to do all the tailgates put on by USF for away games and you can't beat the atmosphere if you're a smaller group that doesn't want to bring all the tailgating equipment on the road.

Garage B and lot B9 are good spots if you want to get out without a traffic jam. Long walk but not bad when you cut through the Student Union. Left on Gemini then a right on Libra leads you through Research Park to 408/417

The realization of this whole thing is really starting to turn me off from college football completely. If my team doesn't have a chance, what's the point? Might as well be FCS so at least we can win a title there.

I also wonder how much athletes are aware of this, and how much it kills/drives their motivation. We've already seen coaches repeatedly leave for better schools, how long before the players start to give up?

same here and add to that fact that both of us most likely won't be able to keep talented coaches bc of the tv money gap and access to the final prize

You think Taggart leaves if the Big12 decided to invite the USF-UCF package last winter? Nope and UCF would feel much more confident in keeping Frost right now.
