This thread should be the top thread forever and it can be used to discuss our conference move to FCS by those who want that.

Guess we find out more this week hopefully no fracture. Agree roll with Fortin if not available just use the freshman qb. I'm sick of McCloud he should only see the field if every available qb we have is injured.
In another world on another team with an O-Line maybe McCloud might develop into something, but his arm strength would always hinder him. In this situation I only see on QB going through progressions fast enough to move the ball or decide to run before the D crushes him.

1. We are back at practice on Monday. What's your priority?
2. When the season is over, do you pack with the portal for 2021, or play the long game and recruit freshmen?
3. Who do you start at Memphis and what's your game plan?
(OK so I guess coach for multiple days)
1. Reps for Johnson.
2. Mostly freshman but a core of transfers to be able to compete a little.
3. Thoughts and prayers.

Don’t discount the quality of Tulsa. They may very well win the conference.
I agree, the difference week to week isn't us, it's the quality of the opponent.

I remember that. Just another example of CCS being a complete fraud. This is how you build for the future.
Full disclosure, I truly believe if CWT is here for Q’s senior year, we go 12-0 and get the NY6 bid.
I had my issues with CWT but I loved that he would blow teams out. I agree, we go 12-0, blow teams out and even if the talent for the future wasn't there they at least got playing time to develop in that season and would have looked better when they took over than they did under Strong.

We shall see. Even if CJS is a guy with a bright future this roster is devoid of talent. Go through the two deep and look at the number of FCS transfers and walk ons in the two deep/getting extensive PT. You don't have that on a normal roster. I'm willing to give CJS time because you don't rebuild rosters over night
On par with what Gregory walked into after Antigua.

QFT...not much talent on this team...maybe four or five players on the starting 22.
At least CJS can honestly sell recruits on immediate playing time.

Seeing the Tulsa freshman QB in reminds me how long it has been since we've been able to give the future any game time. I'm reminded of Strong's first year when we should have had QF put teams away and given the future the 4th quarter but STrong kept it so close we didn't get that very necessary opportunity to give the freshmen game time.

I like dukes a lot, but IMO the jury is still out on RSF. It’s clear he passes the eye test and we saw what he could do when given a competent QB to get him the ball. If I’m him, I'm very angry at what has happened based on no fault of his own.
This goes for multiple guys on this team over the last few seasons. Most of them were here based on the ability to transition to the next level as evidenced by the slew of guys CWT put into the NFL - especially on the offensive side of the ball.
CCS and co. have derailed multiple potential careers and should be ashamed at the performance that they put up. It’s more than just them...futures are on the line as this (whether you like it or not) IS the minor leagues of the NFL and is now big business.
I simply feel bad for all of these young men that were let down by men that they put their faith in. The odds of making it are so slim as it is without your own staff being an impediment.
CCS should be sued by the school and his players for malpractice.

Clank!!
Start Johnson until Fortin is healthy going forward.
If McCloud sees the field put him in as another undersized RB or WR.
CCS is an absolute criminal who made CSH look like a football genius and recruiting savant.

Weis overheard the phrase, “you schgotta estwabish the rhun”* over and over as a kid when Lou holtz was coach at Notre dame. He’s really taken that motto to heart.
*disclaimer: i didn’t actually look up to see if Weis Sr worked for holtz
Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story!

Geez we have another quarter of this crap
I know, we are experiencing relativistic time dilation without approaching the speed of light.

Maybe have Johson QB to the 10 yard line then put in someone else?
-
Bad officiating.
Bad announcers.
Bad Tulsa kicking.
This is just bad all around.

Didn't Roberts literally just quit on the team? Like on national television?
He blew up at someone and CJS sent him to the locker room.

c fl is going to kill us.
1st string all the way to bury us as deeply as possible.

Who do you upset at ESPN to get assigned to our games?
The announcers match the quality of play.

ABM!!
Anyone but McCloud.
-
Tulsa looks to be feeling it now. Another couple scores by them and maybe I get close to winning the prediction contest.

Looks like Roberts just quit. He didn't looked injured
I think he might have gotten told to head in after his outburst.

Roberts whats he mad about dude hasn't made a tackle this year

Both these teams are bad. This is just pure pain we are inflicting on ourselves.
-
Stupid Tulsa. Don't they know you cannot score too fast. It's bad to do.

What do the announcers have to do to piss of the execs so much they get our games?
