Historically, Nevada is a really a small FBS school. Despite playing football for 100+ years, we only recently exceeded 18,000 students in total enrollment. For most of our history, Nevada was a school of less than 8,000 students. Resources have always been limited. I think most fans of the program agree, Coach Ault is able to find kids overlooked by most Pac12 schools and mold them into very solid footballers. The kids you see currently on NFL rosters makes up the biggest contingent in program history.
