He's back!!

I'm not liking the two big guy combo yet.

So many people in this thread said the same thing over and over, just in a different way. Yes, we all know it's too early for this to mean anything (as I said in the 2nd post). It's still Bulls-related news so I thought I'd point it out. Not all news needs to be earth shattering or all that significant. Just stating a fact.

None of this matters right now but still exciting to see us so high on some of these RPI ratings systems.

The Men's basketball team has moved all the way up to an RPI rating of 10 according to http://realtimerpi.com/rpi_Men.html and a strength of schedule rating of 41. Their software is currently predicting we finish 17-13 with a conference record of 8-10 as seen here: http://realtimerpi.com/rpi_225_Men.html .

Especially with these ticky tack hand check fouls, the better foul shooting team wins the close ones. Lights out foul shooting can beat the better teams we play this season if we hold our own the entire game.

Stan just can't coach offense. No matter who the assistants are. First game though.

First game is right. But offenses at USF tend to struggle in Football and Basketball.. Offense takes finesse and talent. Good plays only work when the team attempting to execute them are skilled enough. Defense is teachable because it depends on effort and coaching to perform well defensively.

The truly talented offensive kids tend to choose more traditional programs, that's why we're so lucky to have Perry. He will be huge in the long run for us.

Perry with a nice block down low that translates into 3 pts for us..I'll say again, Perry is big time.

Perry is legit. We are so lucky to have him and Egbunu.

If this is the new style of college basketball, this is an absolute joke.

"The game just got too physical..." As said by the commentator regarding the new hand checking foul rule...seriously? Talk about emasculating the game. Talk about emasculating these men playing the game. Maybe NCAA is looking to combine men's and women's basketball and needs to bring down the men to a more feminine level of gameplay. What the hell is happening to this country.

Looks like somebody's a goody two shoes..why don't we just stop having competitions and give everyone trophies for participation. Besides, your program already exists online to anyone with the ability to Google "free mouse auto clicker." But you're right, we should make sure everyone involved has the same weapons and tactics so we don't hurt anyone's feelings and no one has to lose...let's just make it a tie!

UConn lost to Towson. They are about to go up on #15 Michigan right before the half. Anything is possible.

Oh so basically you're hoping our gameplan is based on luck like UCONN... and Louisville not playing to their top level like Michigan isn't..as far as I can see, we don't have a QB with talent this season and our OL couldn't stop a 3rd grader in a game of Red Rover. As much as I'd like for our team to turn it around and have success to build on for next season, the games only get tougher from here on out. We won't be pulling any upsets over ranked teams Miami and Louisville. It's okay to be upset about our season and team effort. Maybe since it's a bye week and we didn't lose today you're not feeling the emotions of being 0-4 yet. Maybe it'll take 0-12 for you to say something bad about the team or perhaps you will just remain apathetic.

 

Are we the worst team in college football? Well, a team that must be better than us if that is the case is FIU.. They just lost to Louisville by a score of 72-0... Saturday, October 26th may be a BAD BAD BAD day for USF football. Losing is one thing, but if we are anywhere close to 72-0, that is going to be hard to take in as we move to 0-7 and get beat down like this.

I am not a troll. I am a 2012 University of South Florida graduate and a 3 year fan of USF athletics. Just pointing out that it's going to be a rough day for us on our home field on October 26th vs. this powerhouse.
