This hire if true is not exciting at all.
VPMK has been a disaster when it comes to coaches
There once was a VP of Athletics,
Michael Kelly of South Florida fame
He failed to hire a coach
To bring the team to approach
So they're stuck with mediocrity's name. -
Manny Diaz, a man of little success
Failed to bring the U to greatness
His exit from Miami was a mess
But now he looks to the future, no less.Gone is Deion, off to Colorado,
Leaving behind a pride that's feeling low.
But Diaz offers a new way to go,
Ready to lead the Bulls from the depths of woe.Manny Diaz comes to South Florida,
A new leader with a mission to fulfill.
He's been around the game and knows the drill,
And offers hope to a team that's been through much ill.Welcome Manny Diaz, South Florida's new coach,
A fresh start for the Bulls, a chance for them to approach
The game with a different attitude and heart,
In hopes of creating a winning art. -

I’m still gonna choose to believe that we’ve had our coach locked in for a week now. Maybe not Deion or Chadwell… but if we find out that we just now figured out we missed out and we’re scrambling, the whole athletics department needs to be revamped - from the person who tweets **** on Monday to (obviously) VPMK.
We were all so eager, waiting on the edge of our seat
For Deion Sanders to make his choice so we could meet
The head coach of Jackson State, we were so excited
But if we had known weeks ago, we would have never been slighted
To sit and wait for an answer, to hope and to pray
That Deion would come to our school and take the reins that day
But if we had known earlier, we could have just moved on
And found a new leader without Deion's long drawn conWe could have had a coach by now, and our team be well-led
But instead we waited and waited, until the decision was said
We could have gone on with our lives, but we waited and we watched
And now that Deion has said no, we feel like we've been botchedIf we had known earlier, we could have filled that hole
But now we must find another, and it's not a sight to behold
So we'll keep searching and searching, until we find the one
Who will lead our team to greatness, and make sure that we have fun!- 1

Deion Sanders was in a bind,
He had to make a choice, of two minds
But in the end, he had his say
And he chose Colorado, not Tampa Bay
He said South Florida was the one,
But Fort Collins he couldn’t shun
The mountains and beauty made him proud
And it was only fitting that he said it loud
The Buffaloes will now have a leader,
He’ll bring back the glory, that’s a creeper
Deion Sanders will bring the fire
And a lot of people will desire
To see the Buffaloes rise to fame
As he leads them to success and acclaim
Deion Sanders chose the right path
And with him the Buffaloes will have a blast -
Okay I'm starting to think Deion might be considering the Colorado job.

So did 20 year old me, but that was before Colorado legalized weed…
Funny then that the Dolphins are coached by the biggest obvious stoner among NFL HCs.

According to the interview posted a couple days ago, he has not.
Who would accept a job offer without even visiting the place...

Here's a fair question... I think it's clear that Deion did indeed visit the USF campus earlier this week. There's been enough reporting through the grapevines... has there ever been any reporting that he actually has visited Colorado, stepped foot on campus? I haen't seen any.

We’ve already had one Chuckles, a second would make it three too many.

Why is everyone freaking out? @deioniscoming said it's a done deal.
It may have been a done deal 6 hours ago, but might not be a done deal now. Could be back to a done deal tomorrow. You know how these things go.

Can you get it to say Willie was the best USF coach?

Colorado continuing to leak as much as possible. Once again, these are not the steps you take if you think you are the frontrunner for Deion. Colorado wants it known that when Deion chooses somewhere else, wherever else, at least they tried.

Legit question, why not hit up Jim Mora? He can coach, he's getting underpaid in the freezing cold of independent Connecticut, where he just overdelivered in a single year.

Colorado P5 status does not mean as much now with the 12 team playoff. Said USF has a better chance at being in the playoffs then a lot of these middle of the pack P5 schools: said USF’s location is the big advantage
Every bit of that is true.

However this ends, without a doubt the past week is the most alive I’ve felt as a USF football fan since Willie left, and that’s including Chuckle’s first year and every close matchup with Valencia College’s drunk uncle.

Unclear. But I'm hearing an agreement was reached.
I sure hope so, Deion’s running out of time to get his 2025 coach candidacy tour rolling. Gotta schedule that **** fast.

Interim Captain’s Log: 02122022
We’ve been adrift without a head captain for a month now. Or has it been three years? Maybe even six years, time has begun to blur out in the vast dark void. The crew yearns for salvation. Harbour Lighthouse, please guide us home where I pray a new captain awaits.

At what point do we panic
in USF South Florida Bulls Athletics
Posted
At what point do we panic,
As USF's search for a coach
Goes on and on and on,
And time goes by like a roach?
Will we find the perfect coach
To lead our team to great heights?
Or will constant searching leave us lost
Without a leader in the night?
At what point do we panic?
When patience has worn slim
Let's hope a leader appears soon
Before the ship is all but sunken in.
