  1. Freeze recommended him as someone doing a great job and who would rise to the challenge of DC for CWT. However, when Ole Miss began to miss his influence this year and they saw what he is doing here, coupled with their own issues with their DC, they now want him back as their DC.

That's a slap in the face to me the way you put it.

I would say, thanks but no thanks.

  2. A buddy of mine in the Ole Miss fan base seems to think they are going to make a run at him as their defensive coordinator this year.

If that's true, why would they have let him leave? Why not toss some money at his last year to stick around?

I don't think he's leaving Tampa anytime soon as they have a great thing going here.

  3. My guess is that if they are waiting two years to bring this to the pubic, this has to have something to do with MOSI's master plan and the changes that will need to be made.

You can't just scrap a master pan that includes acres and acres of expansion and create a whole new one in a couple weeks or even months.

Going to take some time and teamwork to make sure both sides will beneift from this, if that is where the OCS would be built.

  4. Flowers reads the defense well and does not commit many turnovers.

It should be Flowers job to lose. He has played well enough to earn that

100%. Don't forget that AW chose to go to UCLA over USF which we could have been in his second year as a starter here.

QF is our QB unless CWT and staff sees that AW gives us a better chance to win more games or runs the offense better.

Only time will tell but I'm enjoying what we have right now.

  5. Was in response to your "How can you not like this guy" comment. Just noting that you've been around long enough to know that people on here have found plenty to not like about CWT, they just aren't too loud right now due to the 5 wins in 6 games. However, if we lose to Cincinnati this week they'll be back.

So far his tenure we've had: 1- We lost to McNeese We were horrible and it happens. Ask Michigan and a few other big football schools.; 2- He shuffles QBs More than half the fan base never really backed any QB after BJ; 3- He got shut out by UCF Can we blame Kloss too for the missed FG that would've prevented this?!!??!; 4- He hates steve bench Like many have mentioned before, he's had five years at two schools to get the starting job. Nothing further here on Bench; 5- He throws the players under the bus Some of those players needed to be tossed under the bus for their quitting mentality during those tough two years; 6- He never takes blame for anything Does taking blame for "anything" fix dropped passes and turnovers deep in our field?; 7- He can't call plays Looks pretty good to me over the past 6 games+; 8- He picked a RB to play QB Looks like he choose the right guy to run OUR offense; 9- He can't develop QBs QF seems to be developing very nicely in this "New" founded offense; 10- He's too stubborn to change how he does things Hmmmm such as?; 11- He needed to have a babysitter in Tomey hired to watch him We all need someone to watch over us for a while at times. Maybe COA can have the old sitter now.; 12- He has a lot of stupid gimmicks, just shut up and win We have been and seems like we found the right mix lately and hopefully it continues.

And that's just off the top of my head.

I'm surprised you didn't mention that the USF shut out was at home.

  6. 1) WOW! that was fun.

    2) Man, if only we could tackle

    3) WTF! was that?

    4) God I wish he would open the playbook.

    5) This QB may be ok

    6) That's the way I thought the D would play

    7) See what happens when you let the guys play?

    8) Wrong D for a polished attack

    9) Splish - splash! Great road win!

    10) Most complete game in years!

    I'll agree.

  7. As for next week vs. UCF...is it really a road game? You're probably going into an empty stadium 2 hours from our campus, we don't really lose practice days because we don't need to fly up there, and most likely for once we're going to outnumber our rivals in their own stadium.

It could be even worse if the free beer continues to flow after this weekend.

  8. Here's a twist to the "new" offense, next year runs some plays with AW at QB and a two rb set will a toss pass from QF ot Adams.

Many, many, possibilities to become very explosive next year on offense.

Can't wait for Friday night and what's ahead for this program.

Hope more people purchase their bus tickets because we are started to fill those empty seats week after week with Bullievers.
