  3. I am a Heat fan but if Lebron and Wade would have chosen to go to the Chicago Bulls... I would not be a fan of the Bulls. I understand the resentment from everybody. Bosh and Lebron were free agents. Thankgoodness Pat Riley and Wade were able to convince them both to come here. Collusion would have been if both Bosh and Lebron were under contract.
  4. Armwood quarterback Darryl Richardson, a raw prospect being courted by big schools, eager to improve Richardson has scholarship offers from USF, Ole Miss, Missouri and Tennessee By Brendan Sonnone | For the Sentinel 4:39 p.m. EDT, June 25, 2012 The 2013 quarterback class in the state of Florida is a bit of an enigma. There are plenty of FBS prospects, but no one player truly stands out as a sure-fire, blue-chipper. Winter Park’s Asiantii Woulard, a USF commit, might be the closest thing to that, but he has just one year of experience playing the position. Recent Houston commit John O’Korn was primarily a backup last season at Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas, while Cincinnati pledge and Orlando Boone High prospect Alton Meeks is regarded by many as a better linebacker. But of all the raw quarterbacks the Sunshine State has to offer this year, no signal caller has more hit or miss potential than Seffner Armwood’s Darryl Richardson. Richardson (6-5, 230) just looks the part. He is big, nimble and effortlessly chucks the ball down field. In fact, he probably has the strongest arm in the state. “My arm, it’s decent,†Richardson said with a chuckle. “I can get it there, really.†So far, USF, Ole Miss, Missouri and Tennessee have been impressed with Richardson’s arm strength and have extended scholarship offers. Richardson said USF and Missouri standout right now. Despite his short yet quality offer sheet, Richardson remains a risk for colleges He’s still unrefined and unproven to large degree. Richardson has little experience playing quarterback and needs to work on his decision-making throughout the next season. He has only played quarterback for three years because he previously preferred playing on defense and doing the hitting, as opposed to taking punishment. “Ever since I was little I always had an arm, but I didn’t want to get hit,†Richardson said. “So I decided I wanted to play quarterback in eighth grade, so it picked up then.†His fear of taking hits was justified during the 2011 season, his first with Armwood after transferring from Tampa Bay Tech. As a junior, Richardson missed nearly half of Armwood’s 15 games because of various injuries that included a ruptured bursa sac in his right knee and a dinged-up throwing shoulder. He finished with 751 passing yards, seven passing touchdowns and four interceptions Although he took his lumps last season, Richardson said he’s no longer afraid of taking big hits. “I got used to it,†he said. Although he has a world of potential, Richardson must become a more consistent passer and stay healthy for colleges to look at him as more than a project player, a notion he is well aware of. “Right now, I’m not where I want to be,†Richardson said. “I don’t think I’ll ever be satisfied until I’m at the next level.â€

  7. I This is all just a matter of opinion, but I agree with you. I'd be more tempted to make him an OL than a DL. I saw that we are looking at him as a DT.
  8. His OL highlights are more impressive in my opinion! Thanks for the info!
  9. Skip Holtz â€@CoachHoltzUSF More good news with recruiting coming out today. Productive weekend for the Bulls.
  10. I thought the same thing for a second, but I think that we are recruiting a lot of DB talent this year, maybe 4-5. We were thin last year, we didn't add much, we are graduating some of our solid talent and this year is a banner year for DB talent in FL. I think the staff is just loading up with some kids they really like, while the getting is good. Personally, I think VHIII comes to USF because of the immense respect he has for his father(rightfully so), the man who gave him this extraordinary gift in at least 2 separate ways. His sis is in Gainesville, but I imagine even she would acquiesce to this tribute. A man, who has a great father, honors him with the way he lives. Vernon the III will be part of this electric new Bulls movement. Team Florida all want in, that's beginning to become obvious. I mean we have a big recruiting class and we haven't shot much powder yet. My guess on the breakdown DB- 5 LB-4 DL-4 OL- 3 QB-2 WR-4 TE-2 RB-3 that makes 27 out of a class that was initially projected at 25. It may move around a bit based on best available players, but it addresses our need positions strongly. DB, QB, RB and LB. It keeps us strong with the FL backbone, Receivers and it maintains the other positions(we can be picky). This is gonna be one awesome class. Greg Auman â€@gregauman Today's USF CB commitments, Johnny Ward and Darius Whitty, were told Bulls are taking 3 corners for 2013. Leaves a spot for @VHargreaves24

  15. http://fansided150.com/2012/06/14/jojo-kemp-has-top-six/ JoJo Kemp has top six Jun 14th, 2012 at 1:10 pmby Joe Soriano2013 Football Class Home » 2013 Football Class » JoJo Kemp has top six There are six schools at the top on 2013 running back JoJo Kemp’s list, with USF being the favorite in his recruitment. The other five teams in his top six are West Virginia, Arizona State, Kentucky, Nebraska, and Pittsburgh. Florida International, SMU, Rutgers, Marshall, Temple, Western Kentucky, Duke, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Miami are also teams interested in the Deland, Florida all-purpose back. JoJo Kemp is a three-star back and one of the top 25 all-purpose backs in the country. The Deland High star is 5’10″, 190 pounds and runs a 4.67 forty. Kemp also owns a 4.37 shuttle time and has an impressive 35-inch vertical. He rushed for 1,013 yards and 12 touchdowns last season, and USF is the local front-runner in the top 100 in-state recruit. About an average three-star recruit, Kemp would be a good fit for a school like USF, and they are the front-runner despite bigger programs being after him and in his top six. JoJo Kemp is a shifty, elusive back who does an excellent job of finding the hole. He is also a factor as a pass-catcher, which cannot be understated and is especially important in a conference like the Big East (Pittsburgh is also in his top six and is a BE squad). Kemp has the right build for the position, and he is a really fun player to watch with his elusiveness and ability as a pass-catcher that is top-notch for the running back position. He is also extremely athletic, which makes up for only average speed. He isn’t the best pure rusher, but he is athletic and has a solid all-around game which can make him a quality depth guy or capable backup in the future. JoJo Kemp’s recruitment is certainly one to watch closely, especially with a top six and leader in place.

  17. Winter Park S Blake McClain down to 4: USF, Illinois, Kentucky, Pittsburgh , , By Brendan Sonnone | Orlando Sentinel, 8:45 a.m. EST, June 21, 2012 Blake McClain has spent the first part of his summer visiting colleges, taking inventory of what different programs have to offer. The Winter Park defensive back has assessed his lengthy offer sheet and knows where he wants to go. Now all that’s left is his imminent commitment to a school. That will, in all likelihood, take place within the next couple of weeks. “I got see all the colleges that I liked, so I’ll probably make my decision soon,†said McClain, who already has his mind made up, but wants to wait and not act on impulse. McClain toured Illinois, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana and Pittsburg this summer. He feels that every place he’s seen has had its perks. “It was good,†McClain said. “The coaches showed me a lot of love and told me that they really wanted me.†McClain (6-0, 185) has narrowed his favorites down to four schools: USF, Pittsburgh, Illinois and Kentucky. Although USF, the first team to offer him last summer, is the perceived favorite, a school like Kentucky or Pitt could easily sneak in and earn his commitment. With nearly 20 scholarship offers, McClain—ranked No.21 on the Sentinel’s 2013 Central Florida Super60 list—considers himself lucky to be in a position to pick between multiple BCS schools. “It feels good,†McClain said. “I’m truly blessed because not all people have the opportunity I have.â€
