Personally as a WVU fan I like 10 like Texas AD bigger games, but adding FSU and Clemson and title game adds money and ggod football teams. What if Big 12 is not the first to make a move, that is the new bit going around, not saying that FSU is not coming, saying they might not be first to leave. I could see BE becoming BBall only (GTown, Nova and raiding A10) and ACC combining leftovers in Boise and Such for football only like it has for BR.

The Big 12 has not called FSU or Clemson to prevent lawsuits, this was done by contacts, possibly even one notably to soon be former Big East school Athletic director. ACC can't sue the Big East for recruiting to the Big 12 can they?

Pitt is actually a higher, if ND does got to Big 12 there partners for 13 & 14 would be either GT or Pitt, imo, so they are working hard right now behind the scenes also to possibly pull a TCU. Now if **** hits the fan which conference would PItt and Cuse be better off in BE or making the move to ACC. I say when its done the BE will be the more stable of the two with the better contract in NBC. ACC is going to have to renegotiate with ESPN when its done because if wont be worth what they just signed.

Actually, Greg Swaim says that the Big 12 has offered to pay the entire $20mil. I'd be rather shocked if that is true, unless they get a big bonus on their TV contract to get FSU in. But, while a lot of people here aren't fans of Swaim, but he's pretty much nailed all the Big 12 related items. He truly has at least one very credible source inside the B12. I am not a fan of Swaim, and believe he blows some **** out of his ass but rumor has it with FSU and another 1-3 Big Names that the Big 12 ESPN/Fox Tier 1 and 2 Contract could be close to $30 million a year with the additions, championship game, and renewal. That means each of the current Big 12 Team would pay $2 million initially towards FSU for their buyout and they would profit share like WVU the first 3-4 years prior to getting full share to cover that amount.

It looks to be Louisville is getting cut out of the Big 12 and Pitt might not be headed to ACC next year but Big 12. This situation is fluid. ACC meetings should be interesting. The reason why SEC would want NC State is they want NC, UNC is their top choice for that state but it may not happen. Same with VT in Virginia, and supposedly VT is already putting itself out their for SEC if FSU leaves.

VT will approach the SEC because the ACC is dying, (that's their out without UVA). It won't be UNC because of Basketball, it will be NC State that leaves the other 3 triad schools and heads to the SEC. That gets SEC the other 2 states they want. NC State is fed up with Duke, UNC and Wake, and VT is feed up with UVA. This is about the football schools versus the uppity basketball schools who did not add football value to the ACC. FSU was one of the biggest proponents of WVU to ACC along with NC State the four who voted against the above triad and UVA. The BBall teams are killing their own league.

Lets say FSU, Clemson, UL and Miami to Big 12 Then VT and NC State to SEC What happens to BE / ACC?

WVU tier 3 network rights are $5-6 mil estimated, FSU tier 3 network is looking at $8-12 million.

DJ can coach , he will recruit. He did good at Marshall and would not be surprised he has UCF as a top 6 BE BBall team. Ultimately he has a good chance at taking over for Huggs at WVU in 10 years if he keeps himself straight.

UNC ends with Malhazan. Will happen after the last game. AU is getting stuck with Chizik and probably losing the best coaches on both sides of the ball. Give Holtz time and get BJ Daniels replacement up and running and USF will be fine.
