A lot of people think Marcus Freeman is next up at Notre Dame based on comments made by Brian Kelly earlier think year. I agree that Fickell makes more sense for ND which opens the door for Freeman to return to Cincy.

Huge get for us. Talented player at a position of need from a high school that we need to pull more players out of.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the defense. I thought it would take much longer for this team to come together there.

Go NEB. Hopefully you are the good luck charm this program needs! I don't follow basketball, but I am desperate for USF wins in any sport after this football season.
You're following the wrong team if you're desperate for USF wins

I heard a rumor that the Tulane game had some Sun Bowl-ish problems.
There were multiple reports by Tulane fans saying they saw THEIR players at a bar the night before. One person said he was taking shots with a player that saw significant playing time.

No idea how they pulled that off. I followed the gamecast through the second half and it looked like everything was going Stanford's way. The delay between the gamecast and actual game was excruciating during those final seconds.

What's going on with Mununga?
At the half, she's doing great with 12 rebounds but is just 1-10 shooting.

without an influx in alot of talent it doesnt matter who dc is
It's hard for talent to shine through bad coaching. A good DC can get more out of a less talented unit.
The gap between how talented a team is and how they perform is on coaching. While this defense isn't the most talented, I refuse to believe it's bottom 10 in FBS. Our defense is greatly underperforming relative to its talent.

Because it isn't close enough to the Athletic Center or practice fields? I'm not familiar with where all this stuff is on campus.
There's less parking there.
The location of the track stadium is the best for distance from the dorms and access to parking. Yuengling Center parking to the south and a ton of student parking just across the street to the west.

It just sucks that even though next year is year 3 under Scott, next year is year 1 for a brand new D as I imagine we will bring in a ton of new people on the field and an entire new defensive staff.
The good news is a defensive turnaround tends to be much quicker than an offensive one. With a good DC hire, a defense can improve dramatically in one offseason.

My understanding is the wooded area can't be touched. It might be possible if the circle is shifted to include the intramural softball fields.
The current rumor involves the track stadium and surrounding area. From the feasibility study, the closest location to athletics was Fowler Fields but there's a sense that that's not going to be it.

If that's ordered by likelihood of happening, it's way off. I count at least 5 coaches listed further down the list who are more likely to be fired than CJS.

New president needs to think about brining in their own AD and let them decide. That is if we ever get a new president.
That makes no sense. We don't have an AD problem. We have a football coaching problem that I'm sure will be addressed a week from now.
Y'all always want to fire everyone

- December 7th report to the Board of Trustees
- Keep an ear out in the next week or two for more details

GO BULLS!
It was a good group considering how many people are expected to be in town. Around 50 people is my guess.

A street musician saw our shirts as we approached and played the fight song. Turns out he graduated from USF and lives here now. I connected him with someone giving away extra tickets for tomorrow's game.

I thought freshman didn’t talk to the press?
That policy varies coach-by-coach. Taggart was big on it which led to us not hearing a word from Mack until after his strong freshman year.

I still have 3 tickets available. DM me if you're interested.

Not to be "that guy" but why the $15 charge for handling? There are no paper tickets, and they are all online on the USF/Ticketmaster app. Who is handling what?
The answer is in the text of your post: Ticketmaster.
They have fees for everything. They'd charge me to browse their site if they could find a way to take my credit card when I land there.
