You can debate it al day, but what is driving this bus is money...and especially in consieration of the new TV contract. The delta between the conference TV deals is HUGE! The BE wants a big TV revenue upgrade. You can bet, that whatever school....or schools help put together the best deal for ESPN, will be whp the BE adds ...if any. Just my opinion.

No, I have no idea. If he comes to UCF, he has a one year free ride ( I think) ...unless they pull the scholly, or if he wins his appeal. He can go anywhere else, on his dime.... I have no idea what he is going to do..and he may not know himself. He does need to finsh up his missing credit so that he is eligible...to go somewhere. Good luck to him.

Well, to be precise, he was verbally solid pre TB. When Strong was hired, he visited with DS to cement him at UL, because rumor had it that he was wavering on his solid verbal. He left his HS to join an accelerated program.....allowing him to enter UL early. Something went wrong, because the academic clearinghouse would not allow him to enroll early at UL ( short some credits or something like that), so he then had to want for signing day........UL signs TB. UCF visited with him, offered him an official.....and I think made more than just a medium amount of effort to give him an alternative...to UL. TB, enrolls in the Spring...is playing footballl now....now DS is now approx. 1 year behind him in UL football knowledge....DS can't attend any school until the fall. Noone knows id he is even eligible in an academic sense now! This is just from my recollection...after reading severl billion posts and articles....so I am sure others can be more precise....or shed more light. Good luck to the young man. He might as well come one down, get a year of school done and move on if he is not happy.

Damarcus fell in and out of love with UL several times over the last 18 months. I think the coaching staff realized that by signing TB, it forced his (Damarcus') hand..and evidently made him waiver. He was always a verbal....well at least he was, then not was then was..then no,t was..you get the idea. He made an official visit to UCF on 1/21/2011...Godfrey was his host and guide. His LOI is listed as being logged in on 2/4/2011. If his release has merit, he willl win his appeal, and I expect he will if hein fact files the appeal. I wish him luck. He has had some very adult decisions to make and it has not gone well.

You are right, we totally &*(), but we are gaining. Oh, see last B ball score and on the recruiting front, we just had two potential Bulls sign ( commit)...had offers from USF. don't look back...we are gaining! If we get a B East offer, it will get VERY exciting. Have a good Bowl. I hope we can play again soon....in football. Merry Christmas.

You realize the text in my post was the article written by one of the writers that covers you guys right? I didn't take the time to write that... And I think the band thing was directed towards me as well. I said that UCF's band is in the middle of your student section...somehow you took that as an insult, while all I was doing was commenting on the fact that, well, your band is in the middle of your student section, with no underlying meaning behind it. I've been to plenty of UCF games, in the citrus bowl and at BHNS, and I like how you guys have it in the middle of the section now a days. I'm not hating on UCF's attendance that much, but to be honest I was a bit disappointed you guys didn't sell out. Sorry of I was not well "spoken". Well, that author is just selling web hits..and yes, I too was bummed we did not sell out, but so be it. The band thing was not directed at you....so sorry. Be well, good luck in your Bowl. I watched the UCON game last night..wish Mo had had achance to score the winning touchdown,...and was sort of shocked by the multiple throws. Mo is agreat person...and player. Man Dude, why are you so worried about UCF's attendance? I was there...along with another 41K fans. Yep we always come in late which I hate, but you know, the goal was to WIN! And, we did that, and over 41K cheered. Several times, the noise was so loud the other QB had to go to each lineman to verify the call..and that is why we want a noisy involved crowd. The the band section commenter...as for the band being the complete student section, come on. Are you serious? Pick on something you know about...and that is in the relm of reality. The fans will catch on...maybe. But 41K did, and enjoyed the nice win. Attendance comments on anyones part are just dumb.

But to be fair, what is the record pre BE..(and I think you have some nice wins)...but to compare BCS conference status wins to our non BCS wins is really intellectually unfair. Just my opinion...though....for which I was banned this week from another board...which I now proudly wear as a badge of honor! Good Luck against UCONN. I think they will be tougher than the "u". Rivals?? Gaitorbait.net. A prolific poster posted a request for a TV site to watch the UF/UCF B Ball game. I answered with the NCAA ( legal) free TV stream. I was immmediately banned. Seeveral other people posted sites..all continue to post there. I e mailed the Admin, no response. er ... OK .... Not sure why you brought that up in the midst of that paragraph, though ... Thought you were banned for something to do with UCF/USF. :-\ Oh, sloppy writing on my part. I was referencing in my run on sentence, that my opinion cost me...I was not rude....but opinions are not welcomed there...unless you fall all over Urban and his team. Unless.....you are an insider.
